3. Using phonic to teach the new words:days of the week and food. 4. Learn to sing the song of “Today is Monday”. 二年级的孩子经过一年的训练，有良好的听课习惯，和老师的亲密关系已经建立；对英语的英语学习也有了浓厚的兴趣，有自然拼读的基础，喜欢绘本故事；以老师为权威，很顺服老师的话语。模仿力强，个性好动活泼。二年级是学习英语的基础黄金阶段。

《Today is Monday》这个绘本的创作是基于一首广为传唱的英文儿童歌曲。

翻开书页小朋友就会跟随着不同的动物来一场食物大游行，从Monday一口气吃到Sunday，星期一和豪猪一起享用美味翠绿的豆子，星期二和花花蛇一起吃滑溜溜的意大利面，星期三和蓝色大象来喝神学情秘的Zooooop！还有还有～还有牛肉，鱼，鸡肉。。。。。哇～～是不是有些流口水涅？最后全世分析

界所有的小朋友都会被邀请来一起享用大餐。配合绘本最后一页提供的朗朗上口英文歌曲，孩子在阅读后会跟着音乐一遍一遍唱起来～。这样，孩子就会很快乐轻松的记住周一到周日的英文说法并能记住很多食物的英文名称。可别以为都是些简单的词汇，对于英文非母语的我们来说，那些日常食物的英文名称我们真的有可能闻所未闻涅～，这就是阅读原版英文绘本的好处之一——－学习真正能用于交流的英语。

Bailey: Well down everybody . Today we are going to read a book.Look, ta-da, the title is Today is...not Thursday, but Monday(students say it together.) pictures by Eric Carl(students say it together.)Yes, we all know Eric Carl,(课件),we have read several books that written by Eric Carl,such as Brown Bear, what do you see? From head to toe.Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother too? The very hungry caterpillar. (students say it together.) Yes, today we are going to read this one:Today is Monday. What do you see on the cover? Kids: I can see a cat. Bailey: yes, what colour is it? Kids: it’s black. Bailey: yes, and the cat is holding a ...knife, a fork and a spoon.(students say it together.) So, can you guess guess what’s this book is about? You can use the sentences : It’s about... Kids: It’s about the cat eating breakfast. Kids: It’s about Monday. Bailey: yes, maybe .You are really something. You did a good job.let’ listen and find out,ok? Kids: ok.

活动一：听故事 1.First let’s listen to the story.Ask students to get information from it to practice their listening. 2.Then, the teacher will read it again. 3.Then, use phonic to teach the new words.4.Using the instruments to increase the children’s interset to learn the song.---Story is a good way to learn the songs. Bailey: let’s listen to the story, and then you tell me, what do you hear? (play the story) Kids: I hear Monday string beans. Kids: I hear Thursday roast beef. Kids: I hear Tuesday spaghetti. Kids: I hear Wednesday soup. Kids: I hear Friday fresh fish, Saturday chicken, Sunday ice ceram. Bailey: wow, you can catch all of the words, that’s amazing. （孩子边说，边把单词卡片贴到黑板上。上下两行。）ok, then, let’s read it together.

Bailey:ok, let’s see all this food, if you want to have a bite, you have to say it first. Str-ing- string. Spa-ghe-tti, z-oooo-p, r-os-st b-ee-f, fr-e-sh fish, ch-i-cken, ice cr-ea-m. Bailey:ok, you can read it very well,do you know that we can sing it? Now let’s sing it together. While you are listening ,pay attention where i use this instrument: the double barreled cylinder and double bells and the drum. (使用碰鈡，双响筒，和鼓) Bailey: Let’s have a concert together .i will choose the player and the drummer. The rest of you are the singer and the dancers. Kids: come to the front and ready for the concert. Play the music, sing and dance together. Bailey: wow, what a nice concert, you did a such an excellent job today. Thank you so much.
