Unit 4 Fruit 一、Teaching objectives:

1. Knowledge and ability aims （1）Ss are able to listen, say, read and write the key words “strawberries，cherries，pears，oranges，peaches，grapes，watermelons , bananas” ;

（2）Be able to know the pronunciation of letters “m, n, p”.

2. Process and method aims Ss are able to use the sentences “What’s this?

It’s a pear. ”“What are these? They are peaches.”“ Are these peaches? Yes, they are./ No.they aren’t.” to ask about and identify fruits.

3. Emotion, attitude and value aims Ss tend to like fruit and have healthy diet. 二、Teaching key points: 1. Be able to listen, speak, read and write the new words. 2. Be able to read and use the new language structures. 3. Can read the pronunciation [m][n][b]. 三、Teaching difficult points: 1. Can spell the new words fluently and correctly. 2. Be able to ask about and identifying fruits. 四、Teaching aids: VCD、ppt 、picture cards、fruits

Teaching contents: 1. review the words and sentences 2. share the fruit salad Teaching procedure: Step One

Warming-up and lead in 1.

Greetings and Free talk : Good morning! How are you? Are you happy? I’m happy. Because there are many fruits. What are these? They are oranges. Are these peaches? No, they aren’t. What are these? They are apples. Show some pictures about salad to the Ss and tell them Mothers’ Day is coming, so we can make a fruit salad for mother as a present. We should pass three games to get some fruits.

Step Two

Presentation 1. Play Bang Bang Game to review the words. After the game, Ss read the words together. 2. Ss listen to the tape and finish the task. Step Three

Practice 1.

Show some fruits and cover some parts of them to let Ss guess the fruits, using “Are these…?”, T answers “Yes, they are. or No, they aren’t.”

2.

Show T’s magic box ,invite some Ss to come to the flat, cover Ss’s eyes and let them guess the fruits, they can touch、smell or taste the fruits to guess, using“Are these…?”，the other Ss answer“Yes, they are. or No, they aren’t.”

3.

Ask Ss to have a groupwork to talk about their fruit salad.

Step Four

Extension 1.

Invite three Ss to show their fruit salad and introduce, invite some Ss to gove them scores and choose the best salad. 2.

T shows the handmade fruit salad and introduce it. 3.

Tell Ss to draw pictures of their fruit salad on paper and write a passage to introduce it.

Step Five Summary

Make a summary about what we review today. Point to some fruits to ask Ss “What’re these?” or “Are these…?”

Step Six

Homework Investigate family members’ favorite fruits and write about it. 教学后记：

学生对本课的单词掌握较好，能够分得清单复数形式，但是在句子的掌握上还有些欠缺，有时候不能很好的区分单复数回答，需要一些时间来反应该用什么句子回答。本课通过三个游戏设计来达到复习效果，第一个Bang Bang Game让学生在游戏中复习了本课的单词；第二部分通过听力和选择复习该课的句型；第三部分通过猜一猜让学生从触觉、闻觉、味觉三方面来感受不同的水果，最后由学生介绍自己做的沙拉以及想要在母亲节为妈妈做的沙拉来巩固本课知识。
