一、教材依据

本课时教学是依据闽教版小学英语五年级下册Unit8 Dates of the Month PartB设计而成。

二、课型类别

本课为阅读写作课型

三、学情分析

五年级学生已学习英语近三年时间，已具备初步的英语语感及初步的听说读写能力。五年级学生开始喜欢参与思考类型的教学活动，所以在本课设计中加入大量需要学生通过观察和阅读课文才能完成的沉淀式教学活动。

四、设计思想

根据孩子的年龄特点和接受能力，通过回答关于Date,Who,What的三大类问题，展开对课文三段落的精读教学，最后再通过板书中的框架进行课文复述，从而达到本课的教学目标。

五、教学目标

语言知识目标

1.词汇：能认读和正确书写词汇before, people, Mrs.等。

2.句型：…is busy doing\with… December 25 is Christmas Day. 3.功能：谈论日期与节日。

语言技能目标

1.能使用…is busy doing\with…描述他人正忙于做某事。

2.能用英语说出某个节日的具体日期。

3.能用英语谈论某个节目前的准备活动

(设计意图：教学之初采用音乐方式导入复习内容能够活跃学习氛围，为学生之后的学习打开兴趣的大门。) 2.说句子

请几个个学生补充完整句子，小组说、全班说。

Presentation 一、学习课文第一段。

1.看课文视频，说出本课三个日期

S: people (设计意图：通过精读第一段，让学生了解本段难点it的指代含义，同时通过听看等方式来学习新词people。) 二、教学第二、三段

1.通过询问Who are they? 引出第二、三段课文的初读。

Step3. Consolidation 复述课文

最后空空的黑板，让学生看课件的课文三幅图再复述一次。

二、写短文

播放春节、元宵、端午、中秋节等前夕人们忙碌的身影的短片，告诉学生们要享受节日，享受生活。
