Unit4 A Spring Outing PartA

本课是闽教版《英语》五年级下册第四单元的Part A部分,本课的话题为学校的春游活动。继续学习巩固be going to表示计划、准备做某事的句型,并用该句型谈论春游活动的准备工作。语音部分总结读作[e]的字母组合ea以及e在闭音节中的读音。

二、教学目标

◆语言知识目标

1.学习词汇:spring outing,climb,mountain,water,thirsty, camera等。

2.学习句型:What're you going to take with you?I’m going to take…with me.

3.学习字母e和字母组合ea在单词中的发音。

4.学唱歌曲:Flowers Are Blooming。

5.功能:谈论春游。

◆语言技能目标

1.能运用be going to do sth的句式来谈论春游时准备开展的活动。

2.能运用be going to do sth的句式来说一说春游前准备带的东西和准备穿的衣物。

3.能根据不同场合或不同活动,制订出相应的计划。

学会做计划,培养合理安排事情的能力。

1.本课新单词和词组的卡片。

2. PPT及教学光盘。

四、教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings.

2.Sing a song: Little Red Bird in the Tree.

3.Free talk.

T:This song is about seasons. Do you know seasons? How many seasons are there in a year? And what are they? (请生回答) T: Wha t’s your favorite season? Why?

T: My favorite season is spring. It’s warm in spring. Flowers are blooming in spring. We can go for a spring outing. 4. 教学outing和a spring outing。(渗透ou的发音教学)告诉学生,outing表示短途旅行。

5.T: It’s a good time to go for a spring outing. And today we’re going to learn Unit4 A Spring Outing Part A.

【设计意图:用欣赏歌曲的方式导入,既调动学生学习积极性,又为课题的切入打好基础。通过师生的对话和图片的展示,创设轻松愉快的学习氛围,并自然地导入课题。】

Step 2 Presentation

1. PPT呈现有Miss Gao,Wang Tao和Sally的图片,教师分别请学生一一识别,然后说Yes,they are Miss Gao,Wang Tao and Sally. What are they talking about? Let’s listen.

教学句子“We’re going for a spring outing.”

2. T: They are going for a spring outing. What are you going to do? Let’s watch the video and answer it. (播放课文视频后, PPT呈现问题及选项,教师提问学生回答问题。)

3.教师根据问题的答案,依次教学单词climb和mountain。

(1)PPT呈现图片,用outing中ou发音引导学生学习mountain,对比mountain与hill,用游戏“摇头晃脑读单词”操练;

(2)强调climb中的字母b是不发音的,结合动作操练单词。拓展练习:让学生看图说出climb a tree/hill.

4. T: we know the pupils are going to climb a mountain. Can you guess what are they going to take with them?

(1)教学句子“What are they going to take with them?”和“They are going to take …with them.”(请个别学生用句子“They are going to take …with them”猜一猜)

(2)Listen and think:

Q1: What is Wang Tao going to take with him?

Q2: What is Sally going to take with her?

(3)T:Did you get the answer? OK, now let’s ask Wang Tao together. Can you?

PPT呈现问句“What are you going to take with you, Wang Tao?”(分组读句子)

根据答案引出water(渗透语音a, er的发音教学和water 的两种不同意思)、thirsty和句型I'm going to take some water with me.的教学。用卡片对比thirsty和thirty朗读、次数读的方式操练。教师边教读边板书词组和句型。

(4)引导学生用句子“He is going to take … with him.”问题“What is Wang Tao going to take with him?”

(5)同样的方法引出camera(渗透元音字母的发音教学)和I'm going to take a camera with me.的教学。用卡片教读以及做动作的方式操练。教师边教读边板书词组和句型。引导学生用句子“She is going to take … with her.”问题“What is Sally going to take with her?”

5.教师播放课文VCD,要求学生逐句跟读,重点、难点句型个别提问朗读,教师注意纠音。

6.分角色朗读对话。

【设计意图:利用学过的人物引出本课的主要内容,让学生带着问题整体感知课文,用选择答案的方式降低了难度,让学生更好地理解

课文。同时教师通过各种不同的操练方式教学新知,让学生更好地掌握新知并能初步运用。课文朗读有针对性,形式多样,学生乐于开口模仿跟读。】

Step 3 Extension

1.随机朗读。PPT呈现本课的重点、难点句型,先全体学生认读,然后教师随意点击,个别学生大声朗读。

2.幸运数字。PPT呈现1-6个数字,学生根据喜好选择数字,数字背面有相应的图片,学生根据图片进行问答练习。(教师先请1名学生做示范,再让学生同桌之间互相问答,最后反馈。)

3.书写练习。完成课本第27页的Learn to write.部分。教师巡视指导、纠错,请个别学生朗读。

【设计意图:拓展练习由浅入深,有说有写,形式多样。先是巩固本课重难点句型,然后通过一个简单的游戏,让学生将今天所学句型进行巩固运用,同时也强化了书写能力。】

Step 4 Pronunciation

1.教师播放课本第24页的Listen and learn the English sounds.部分的录音,学生模仿跟读。引导学生说出字母e和字母组合ea的发音[e]。

2.PPT呈现bed,let,net,head,dead,weather,让学生根据发音规律自己朗读这些单词。
