Greet the whole class as usual. Step II Warming up.

T:How are you today?

Ss:Fine,thank you.And you?

T:I'm OK.

T:What's the weather like today?

Ss:The sun is shining.(teacher write “The sun is shining”

on the

blackboard). Step III Lead-in. 1.show the learning aims. (1)

. Learn and master the Present Continuous Tense. 2.Show the self-study guidance 1. (1).Let students read the letter of the part 2,then answer the questions. (2).retell the letter together. 3.Show the self-study guidance 2. (1).Let students look at the three photos and sentences in part 2,and find out the sentences which have “ing”. (2)Students read out the sentences. (3)Teacher checks them. 4.Lingling introduces the three photos to us .Students learn these
