一、教学目标

1、知识目标

这一课话题是谈论交通规则及安全，要求掌握careless, helmet, light-colored三个单词，会理解若干个交通标志及学会用if条件状语从句，并能用if进行说句子。

2、技能目标

通过学习交通规则和骑自行车的安全规则，训练学生听、说、读、写等各项技能；并能准确地用所学内容进行交际、表演。

3、情感态度目标

让学生遵守交通规则，树立安全意识。学会珍视自己的生命，学会爱惜他人的生命，从而团结细作，构建一个和谐的社会。

4、学习策略目标

在学习中培养学生积极、主动的学习方法，克服死记硬背等消极的学习策略，善于分组活动，在小组中积极与他人协作，取长补短，共同完成学习任务。

5、文化意识目标

让学生了解中国、英国、等国的交通法规，找出中西方文化的差异；从而扩大视野、增长见识。

二、教学策略选择与设计

采用五步教学法、任务型教学途径，让学生朗读对话、表演、等形式来培养学生自主、探究、合作等学习能力。

三、教学重点及难点

重点：谈论交通规则及安全，掌握careless, helmet, light-colored几个单词，会理解几个交通标志。

难点：及学会用if条件状语从句，并能用if进行造句。

Warm-up.

Greeting to the students, then ask the students: let’s look out of the window, what’s the weather like today?

Then teacher says: “it’s such a rainy day, so I come to school by car. How about you? How do you come to school today?”

“Oh, let me see, how many of you come to school on foot/by bus/by bike? Hands up, let me count!”

“it seems that most of like to come to school by bike. How about talking about the advantages of riding bicycles?

The students answer: I come to school by bike/ bus/ on foot.

S1: bicycle can save energy. S2:…….. S3:……. S4:……..

Presentation

OK. You have done a good job. If you go to school by bike, you should be careful, you shouldn’t be careless. If you go to school by bike, you can wear a helmet. If you go to school by bike, you should wear light-colored clothes. ”

Learn and read the three new words.

If you go to school by bike, you must obey the traffic rules. Welcome to my traffic station to learn some traffic rules.

Let the students guess the 3 new words meaning in Chinese: careless, helmet, light-colored.

Can you remember this traffic signs? If you remember this, you will obey the traffic rules. If you obey the traffic rules, you will be safe on the road, the road will be safe,too. If you don’t obey the traffic rules, it may cause an accident. Here is an accident.

Open you book to P45, 1b. The students listen and finish 1b. Then check the answers.

After that, see the movie of 1a, answer another three questions.

Last, read after the voice and practice the dialogue together. Then stand up to read aloud.

Look and say

Here are some key points of 1a. Underline and copy it down. Especially this sentence: If we break the traffic rules, we may get a fine and even be in danger. See a short video about if clause, make sure what 主将从现

is。

Open to 2a. finish the 4 picture by oral. the students copy down the key words and see the short video, then understand 主将从现. Write down : if +一般现在时，主句+将来时。

Look at 2a. speak out the sentences as quickly as they can.

Step5 Drill Work alone.

Look at 2b .Match the sentences. Check the answers.

Find out different countries have different traffic rules. Make sure they can understand: If + 一般时，主句+ should/must等情态动词

Finish 2b. check the answers. Pay attention to : the left hand side

Step6 Exercises

Finish the exercises, check the answers and change it.
