教学内容分析：本课是新授课,要求能使学生了解天气的英语表达方法，会使用What’s the weather like ?句型进行天气的询问并回答。

教学对象分析：本课的教学对象是五年级的学生。五年级的学生活泼好动,勇于开口模仿，他们接触英语有两年了，对英语有一定的基础和兴趣。通过以往的学习，学生掌握了一些基本的句型和单词，能够进行简单的问候语和对话，学生还能听懂一些课堂用语和有秩序地进行教学游戏。但学生控制能力差，有些学生基础不好,对英语没有多大兴趣,因此在这节课中我充分利用信息技术吸引学生的注意力、激发学生学习兴趣、培养学生的语言表达能力，让学生在轻松愉快的气氛中学习英语。

Step2、Presentation 1、Divide the pupils to four groups. They stand for: sunny, rainy, cloudy, and windy. 2、sunny T: Look! The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Oh! What’s the weather like? It’s sunny.

S: Sunny Sunny T: We can act like this (师五指分开，收拢，分开，代表sunny) 3、Rainy T: Listen! 哗啦啦，Oh, it’s raining. What’s the weather like? It’s rainy

S: Rainy Rainy

T: Do you want to act? 生尝试用手势表演Rainy（十指向下，微微颤动，作下雨状）师及时鼓励

4、Cloudy, Windy Present the words in the same way. (设计意图：通过手势来学习这四个单词，让学生加深印象，用形象的记忆使学生学起来更生动有趣。) Practice 1 ‘I do and you guess’

Game ‘Bounce, bounce the letter S …’

5. Present the sentences T: Show a picture of weather and ask question ‘What’s the weather like today?’ It’s sunny and hot. Practice T将图片藏在身后，问：Guess, what’s the weather like?

PS：It’s sunny/rainy/cloudy/windy/cold/warm/cool. Then play in groups. Step4、Playing (Computer show) (出示全国地图，鼠标指到某处，显示该城市的天气情况。) T: Look, I’m an air reporter. Now it’s time for weather forecast. Where is it? (Point to ‘Harbin’)

PS: It’s Harbin.

T: What’s the weather like in Harbin?

PS: It’s cold.

T: Yeah! It’s cold. You can stay at home and watch TV.

Practice Act the air reporter and make a short report. e.g.: Good evening, everyone! Today is Sunday. Let’s look at the weather reports.

It’s cloudy in Beijing. You can ride a bike. It’s sunny in Hong Kong. It’s hot.

Step 5. Extension (小组练习，以打电话的方式模拟询问播音员天气的情景。) E.g.: S1：Hello! S2：Good morning! S1：What’s the weather like in Beijing/ Chongqing /Shanghai/Kunming?

S2：It’s sunny/rainy/cloudy/windy.
