Lesson 22 At the supermarket 教学目标 1、通过创设情境、看图片、反复操练与实际运用,学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写词汇:tomato, potato, bag

1、单词的识记与句型的运用。
2、tomato与potato的名词复数形式。
3、字母a在本课单词中的不同发音。

1、增强学生的环保意识,购物时自备购物袋。
2、少吃糖果等对身体有害的食品,多吃蔬菜水果。
3、感受中西方传统节日万圣节、圣诞节与春节。

Ⅰ. Class opening
Listen to a Christmas song. Ⅱ. New concepts:
1.Christmas is coming.Jenny’s mother,Mrs. Smith is going to have a
party.So she wants to buy some food.Where is she going?板书课题
利用卡片教授四个新词汇。
What does she want to buy? Let’s have a look. (1)Tomato:What colour is it?(字母a用红笔板书) Is it good or bad for our health? What does the letter a pronounce? Do you know other words with letter a pronounced …?(汉语问) (basketball: We play basketball on the playground. classroom: We have English class in the classroom.) (2)Potato:What fast food is made of potatoes?
What does the letter a pronounce? Do you know other words with letter a pronounced …?(英语问,加入体态语辅助学生理解) (baby, game: We like games.) 出示tomato与potato的plural form,以及以o结尾的名词复数形式。
(3)Candy:How does candy taste? (sweet)
Can we usually eat candy?Why? (It’s a junk food.垃圾食品)
Do you know other junk food? (学生先发言,教师板书3种,再出示十大垃圾食品。) We should eat more vegetables and fruit. Although candy is unhealthy,but it’s fun for children to beg for candy on Halloween.出示万圣节讨要糖果的习俗。
We also called children kids.You are kids,too. Do you like candy,kids?
What does the letter a pronounce? Do you know other words with letter a pronounced …?
(apple,alligator: A is for apple/alligator.) (4)Bag:This is a shopping bag.Do you know other bags? The letter a also says /梅花音/. Now let’s read these words with the letter a.A for /a/、/ei/、/梅花音/. 领读字母a不同发音的单词。
2. At the supermarket Now we know Mrs.Smith wants to buy some toatoes,potatoes,candy and a bag. (1)Listen and answer:
Who goes to the supermarket with Mrs. Smith? What does Jenny want to buy? How about Danny?
What’s Mrs. Smith’s advice(建议)for Danny? What do they use to carry the vegetables? (2)Listen and choose the right answers. Mrs. Smith:①_____!Let’s buy some vegetables. Jenny:Great! Danny:Okay!
Jenny:I like tomatoes. Danny:I like potatoes. Danny:②_____ Smith,I like candy,too. Mrs. Smith:Danny,③_____ isn’t good for your teeth.④_____ some fruit? Danny:Okay. Jenny:Danny,don’t ⑤_____ that bag.We have our shopping bag. Danny:Okay. Mrs. Smith:You are good kids.
(3)Listen and read. If you can read the text very well, I will have a surprise for you. (4)You are very good.The surprise is that the supermarket has a Christmas sales promotion.Many things are cheaper.Let’s go shopping!(出示超市促销海报)
设计意图:第一次课文的播放是在起示范作用,给学生输入正确的语音,同时让学生了解课文内容。第二次是训练学生的听力,提炼重点词汇。第三次是学生跟读课文。第四次是教师设置意外惊喜的悬念,能很好地激发同学们的好奇心,从而促进同学们的学习欲望。
3. Let’s do it!
(1)Look at the placard.There are so many things we can buy.If you have 50 yuan(板书),What do you want to buy?Write down your shopping list and talk in groups.Please give some advice for each other.You can use

How about _____? _____ is too expensive._____ is cheap. (2)Show Time. 设计意图:小组活动环节,不仅仅是列出购物清单,也是对同学们数学知识的小测试。这样跨学科知识的链接,能较好地调节课堂氛围。同时,小组合作列购物清单,增强了同学们团队协作的凝聚力。
(3)You are very good!You are going to buy so many things.So we can have a party at Chirstmas. Do you like Christmas?It’s the biggest festival in the west. What’s the biggest festival in China?
(春节习俗简介:We visit our families and bring gifts for them. We have a big dinner with our family and make dumplings together. We set off firecrackers,paste spring poems and dragon and lion dance. Kids can get lucky money.)
Do you know the famous Christmas food and Spring Festival food?Le’s
have a look. (出示课件:We have hot pot,dumplings,fish,spring roll,New Year cake and some snacks in Spring Festival. They have Christmas Turkey,red wine,Christmas cake,gingersnap and Christmas pudding on Christmas.)

课后反思
跨学科知识的链接,有时候能让同学们在课堂上闪出美丽的智慧火花。因此,本课我特意布置了英语词汇与数学习题的结合任务,使得教学内容简单而又不乏趣味性。在展示汇报环节,我既请了英语成绩一般的同学进行汇报,也请了英语成绩较好的同学提出更好的建议,让同学们都体会到英语学习的乐趣。这是本课设计的一个亮点。
当然,课堂教学中也存在着一定的遗憾。比如,为了完成整个教学任务,我没有在思维导图环节耽误太多的时间,可能会减少给同学们思考的时间,或者减少给学习基础薄弱的同学回答问题的机会,一定程度上影响了他们的学习积极性,这在今后的教学中需要改进。
