一、教学目的和要求（Teaching aims and demands）

1.学习并掌握表达天气状况的形容词：rainy, snowy, windy, sunny,

cloudy 2.能够运用句型询问What’s the weather like

…? It’s sunny\ rainy\ windy …并说出天气情况。

3.通过学习本课学生能用英文流利地介绍各中天气预报情况，培养学生的英语口语交际能力和相互合作的精神。

Step1

Revision and presentation

a.Chant: Hot! Hot! So hot! Hot! Hot! So hot! Hot! Hot! So hot! Is it hot in summer? It’s so hot!

Is it hot in summer? It’s so hot!

Hot! Hot! So hot! Hot! Hot! So hot!

b.教师拿出温度计，Look! It’s… 学生用It’s…

回答。教师

Is it warm/cool/cold/ today? 学生用Yes./No. 回答。

Step2

新句型：What’s he weather like in…?It’s….的教学。

教师：What’s the weather like today? 引导学生回答：It’s warm/hot/cool/cold today.教师再问What’s the weather like in Shanghai?引导学生回答：It’s warm/hot/ cool/cold in Shanghai.

Step3

巩固新句型。

在电脑上出示一幅中国的天气预报图，让一名学生做天气预报员，其他学生问：What’s the weather like in Beijing/Shanghai/Hongkong…?台上的学生答：It’s warm/hot/cold/cool in Beijing/Shanghai.请若干学生上台进行表演，扮演天气预报员，进行句型的操练。

Step4 关于天气的新单词rainy, snowy, windy, sunny, cloudy的学习。

a.在电脑上出现一幅世界的天气预报图，教师：Look, This is a map of world. Do you know where London/Moscow/ Syney is….?学生指出并回答：It’s in….教师：Do you want to know the world weather? Now, learn by yourself.教师早已准备好各种天气的音频和视频学习资源，让学生通过观看影片自学。

b. 教师问What’s the weather like in London/Moscow/Syney?学生可能有不会的单词，这时候教师可以让学生指出新的单词。

c. 教师出示各种天气的标志图并教新单词：rainy, snowy, windy, sunny, cloudy（板书新单词rainy, snowy, windy, sunny, cloudy, 并把各种天气的标志图贴在新单词的旁边）把单词rain、snow、wind、sun、cloud写在黑板上对应的形容词下，让学生找出它们之间的联系。

d. 让学生汇报学习结果。教师问What’s the weather like in London/Moscow/Syney?学生用It’s sunny\ rainy\ windy …进行回答。

Step5 扩展活动

利用多媒体展示一个正在下雪的场面,教师说:Look at the picture .It’s snowy. What season is it ? 学生回答：It’s winter.教师说What’s the weather like in winter?学生回答It’s cold/ snowy.(教师板

书What’s the weather like in winter? It’s cold/ snowy.)教师问What ’s the weather like in spring?展示相应的动画片，让学生根据动画片用It’s rainy/snowy/cloudy/进行回答。以同样的方法引出其它的两个季节，进行操练句型。

Step6. Home work

1.制作四幅图，内容要包括一年四季的天气情况。

2.用What ’s the weather like in…造六个句子并回答。
