课前放歌《Happy New Year!》

Step1.Warming up 1. Say a rhyme《for you and me》. 2. Free talk. T:What’s this/that?. S: It’s a... T: ...for you./This is for you./It’s for you. S:Thank you.

T:Are you Happy?（显示happy笑脸）

S：Yes.I’m happy.（引导学生会说I’m happy.）

Step2. Presentation and practice. 1.

教授Happy New Year! T: Look, New Year is coming. Now let’s see! (放相关图片和背景歌曲渲染新年气氛) At New Year, we can say…

“ Happy New Year!”跟读,(出示板书读) Happy New Year! Boys and girls! S: Happy New Year! Mr Yong. (贴板书) T: Look, We can say “Happy New Year!”(PPT强调) Can you say “Happy New Year!”

Now let’s play a game: Freezing Game! You should say: Happy New Year!(对个人说) T: Here are some tips for you. Tips: 用英语向他人表达节日问候，可以让我们感受到学习英语的乐趣和成就。

T：To express the holiday greetings to others in English, we can feel happy and successful. (完成Ticking time第一项) T: Now it’s ticking time. 1.I can say “Happy New Year!” If you can do it well, you can tick 3 stars! (完成Ticking time第一项,教师及时走入学生中关注打分情况，T：Good! You’ve got 3 stars!) Put your paper in your book. T：OK. Today we’ll learn: Unit 8 Happy New Year!（齐读-贴板书揭示课题）

2.显示Mike and Helen 图

T：Who are they? Why are they so happy? （引出Uncle John,教学Uncle John）

T:What present did Uncle John bring?（看卡通，完成exercise 1）

T:Open to Page50-51,read the story .Let’s mathch.Who has these present? （学生自读课文，完成exercise 2，并汇报）

S1: It’s a doll. This is for Helen./It’s for Helen. S2: It’s a ... This is for .../It’s for ... T: Look at picture3,5. If you want to know the present. How to ask. 引出What’s this? What’s that? 教学that, What’s that? T: What’s the difference between “What’s this?”

and “What’s that?”

（引导学生说出this 和 that的不同用法，但是两者的回答都是It’s...）

3.显示Let’s say a rhyme. (操练what’s this/that? It’s...) T: Let’s say a rhyme. This, this, what’s this? Doll, doll, it’s a doll. That, that, what’s that? Ball, ball, it’s a ball. （师示范-全班-男女操练）

4.Read the story Read after the tape. Read after the teacher Read in roles. (PPT显示，小组组员用自己喜欢的方式朗读，指名朗读，评价) 5.Act out the story （小组表演操练，指名表演，评价）

Step 3.Consolidation 1.（小熊闯关游戏）

T:New Year is coming. We’ll have a New Year Party.Wennie is going to the party.let go with him. 第一关：遇到下面情况你应该怎么说？（情景问答，结合板书小结）

第二关：根据课文对话编chant. 第三关：Let’t imagine Tim is coming...（编对话，表演）

2.Finish the exercise 完成课堂练习第三题

3.完成Ticking time第三项

Step4. Homework. 1. Read the text and act it out. (朗读课文并表演。）

2. Make and send a card. （为即将到来的节日制作一张贺卡并且写上节日祝语,试着用英语来送给自己的朋友或家人。）
