Unit 8I, Book 3 课前反思：上节课的学习中，学生已经掌握句型What are they?学习了ducks,pigs,sheep和cows.和这节课我们将学习几个后面加es的词。

教学目标：Learn to use “Are they …?”“Yes, they are.”

“No, they aren’t.”

知识目标：1. By using courseware teaching tools, students san listen , read , say and write the words: tomatoes,potatoes,corns,beans,cabbages

2. Through making sentences, asking and answering practice “Are they potoes/…?”“Yes, they are.”

“No, they aren’t.”

能力目标：1. Through listening, reading , role play , making dialogues , students can listen , read,and act out the dialogue even to recite the context .

2. Through learning the whole text , we can let the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class . 情感目标：1.Learn how to treat the natures and enhance interests in learning English and enthusiasm .Let the students love labour-working .Let’s the students love lives. 教学重点：1.Try to use “Are they potatoes?”and“Yes, they are./No,they aren’t”

教学流程：1.巧妙导入; The students make a dialogue talking about the picture . 2.引出主题

: “Are they …?”“Yes, they are.”

“No, they aren’t.”

Let’s play a game. (Show the picture on the blackboard, let the students choice one,wirte it on the exercise book.The teacher selects a student A,then ask the others:Are they tomatoes? The others answer:“Yes,they are /No, they aren’t. ”If the students’ answer is right,A can say:You got it!) 3.解决难点：Words and sentences study: (1)

Make a dialongue with your partner.

(2)Teacher prepares four pictures ,students choose anyone ,answering the question”Are they ?”

4.听音感知：Listen to the tape

5.默读初始：Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups . 6.朗读探知：Read loudly and answer the questions. 7.听音跟读：Listen and try to read after the tape. 8.角色朗读：小组读，男女读，开火车读，领读，师生对读，角色读。

9.留白处理：留白读，去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。

12.布置作业：Assignment of Homework. Ask the students to recite the lesson after class or they can read the text to their parents.
