Teaching procedures: Step 1

Warm up & Revision Greeting: Good morning! Boys and girls./Good afternoon! Boys and girls. Free talk: T walks into the students to greet with some individuals by using the sentences:

How are you?/Good morning!/Nice to meet you!/...... Guide the students to answer correctly. Sing a song: How are you Review:1.High or low voice.

2.Chinese VS English. 3.Read together. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1.Ask the students to guess a riddle about “ear”. Lead them to understand the meaning of “ear”. 2.Ask the students to listen to the tape and pay attention to the

pronunciation of “ear”. Then repeat it. 3.Read the word group by group. Correct the wrong pronunciation. 4.Read the word together and compare ear with ears.

5.Practice the word by playing games: Look into the mirror, Opposite tune, Up and down.

Step 3 Summary & Homework 1. Present the key word of this lesson, then repeat and explain it again. 2. Read the word together.
