Our houses 教学设计

一、教材内容分析:

这节课选自重大版小学英语五年级上册Unit 4 Our houses的第一课时。以“House”为主题,通过学习各个房间的英文表达,能简单交流有关家庭居室的情况。

本节课上,我采用了单元整合。首先引入教材49页的故事,以“Where is Jelly?”为疑问,激发学生去听、看故事,找出Jelly究竟在哪里。接着,通过

Mary and Jelly invite us to their house(Mary和Jelly邀请我们去她们家), 正式进入新单词教学,并通过指令,例如:

Go to the bedroom, have a sleep等,强化记忆。在练习环节里,我运用Listen and do、Show us your house(介绍你的房子)、Bingo Game(猜一猜),激发学生积极参与、动口动脑。最后,回到故事中去,通过图片提示,让学生能简单复述“Where is Jelly”这个故事。

掌握单词:house,bedroom,bathroom,living room,dining room, study,kitchen;

掌握句型:This is my house, I have a bedroom, a study and …

2、技能目标:

能够听、做以下指令:Go to the study—Read a book;

能够听懂教材49页Story Corner的大意, 并能简单复述该故事。

3、情感态度价值观:

通过设计的教学活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生对家庭的热爱。

五、教学用具: 多媒体课件,flash、单词卡片,房屋居室图。

六、教学过程:

一、Warming-up:

Step one: greeting(日常问候). 师:Good morning, boys and girls, Nice to see you! Today , we are going to learn Unit 4 Our houses. Are you ready? Step two: leading-in (故事引入). 师:Firstly, I have a funny story to show you. Look, this is a cat. What’s her name? (生:Jelly). Jelly is very cute and beautiful, right?

But Now, Mary, a little girl, is looking for Jelly. Where is Jelly? Let’s take a look and find out! 播放故事视频, 同时根据播放进度,依次展示故事中的四个线索卡片:

study-bedroom-living room-kitchen在黑板上。

播放结束,师:Jelly is very naughty, right? Okay, let me ask you some questions. Where is Jelly? Is she in the study? 生:No. 师:Is she in the bedroom? 生:No. 学生否定一个,老师取掉一个线索卡片。最后,留下了“kitchen”. 师:Why is Jelly in the kitchen? Can you guess? 学生猜想、发言Jelly为何在厨房(Maybe Jelly is hungry, she is looking for food)。

二、Presentation:

Step one: 教学house 师:Now, Mary and Jelly invite us to their house. Come on, let’s take a look! Wow, this is a very big______, 学生自己可试着拼读。老师展示House单词卡片,开始教授。(配设计的动作,强化学生记忆)。

Step two: 教学study(听关键词-猜想-展示-具体教学) 师:Let’s go inside! Look at the doors, they are all red. Can you guess what rooms are they? 学生选第一个房间,听老师描述:There are some books, I can read books in here. Can you guess what room is this?

学生猜、说该房间。

教读study。师:问道:Look at your house, Can you point study

for me? How many do you have? 生: I have a study/two studies(根据自己的房屋图). 教师可纠错发音、复数形式等。最后,边说边做动作:go to the study, read a book. 师:What else can we do in the study? 生:play computer games/do home-works.

Step three: 教学bedroom(听关键词-猜想-展示-具体教学) 师:In this room, there is a bed, I can have a sleep on it. Can you guess what room is this? 学生猜想、说答案。老师教读bedroom后,问道:Can you point bedroom for me? How many do you have?

生:I have two/three bedrooms(根据自己的房屋图). 最后,说、做:go to the bedroom, have a sleep. ……,

以同样的方法,也就是按照:听关键词-猜想-展示-具体教学的顺序,教授剩下的bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room这四个单词

在单词教学中,充分运用手中的房屋图,让学生能找到各个房间,说一说、简单描述。

三、Practice:

1、listen and do:Go to the study—Read a book;

Go to the bedroom—Have a sleep;

Go to the bathroom—Brush your teeth;

Go to the living room—Watch TV;

Go to the kitchen—Help your mother;

2、Pair-work: Introduce your house(介绍你的房子)

This is my house, I have a …

3、Pair-work: Bingo Game(猜一猜)

四、Consolidation:

1、Story-teller. 学生能够根据图片提示,简单复述该故事。

五、Ending:

谚语:A man’s house is his castle. 培养学生对家庭的热爱。
