UNIT 7 DR SUN YATSEN 一、教学目标

(一)语言教学目标

1、词汇:Dr/ be born/ modern/ go on/ leader/ free/ finally/ historical/ against/ emperor/ memorial/ hall/memorial hall 2、重点句子

He was the father of modern China. He was against the emperor. He tried to change China and free the people. He loved the people and the people loved him. (二)语言技能目标

1、能分别掌握上述单词和句子。

2、能理解课文,并能流利地朗读课文。

课文的理解和重点句子的运用。

三、课前准备

孙中山画像、中山纪念堂照片、课文VCD等

四、教学过程

(一)热身

1、重温四年级上册unit 5 的sing along: my friend,如果能找到与孙中山有关的歌词更好。

2、提问学生:who’s your hero or heroine? Why?

(二)呈现与操练

1、引入新课

2、教新单词:historical历史的

让学生讲几个历史人物,加深对historical的认识。

3、教单词:be born 提醒学生注意在使用这个句型的时候要使用过去时形式。

4、教He was the father of modern China. 5、教单词:leader / against/ emperor/ free Teacher: Why was Dr Sun Yatsen so important? What did he do? He was a great leader. He was against the emperor. He tried to change China and free the people.(板书)

leader 领导;领袖again--- against 反对

change 有空的;自由的

6、教Finally he started to change China. Teacher : Did Dr Sun Yatsen free the Chinese people? Yes, but slowly. Finally be started to change China.(板书) finally 最后的

(三)巩固性操练

1、集体朗读单词,然后个别检查;

2、观看课文VCD或听录音,然后通过下面是非题的练习检查学生是否理解课文。

4、预习课本32页到34页,收集一个你比较熟悉或感兴趣中国历史名人的生平事迹。
