Teaching materials: Period I The days of the week are having a party. Mr Sunday has a black coat and hat. ‘How do you do?’ he says, and bows. Mr Monday is a happy young man. ‘I like singing. I love music!’

Mr Tuesday is tall and strong.

‘I love playing sports.’

‘I’m in the middle of the week,’

Says Mr Wednesday. He always smiles. Miss Thursday is very clever.

She really loves to read. Miss Friday is a little shy, While Mr Saturday is very kind. ‘Let me get everyone a drink,’ he says. And so the days of the week start their party.

Period II Peter goes to school from Monday to Friday. He likes reading. He often goes to the school library on Monday afternoon. Sometimes he reads fairy tales. Sometimes he reads storybooks.

He is busy

on Monday.

Peter likes playing basketball. He always

plays basketball with his classmates on Tuesday afternoon. He is busy on Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, Peter usually goes to the Chinese chess club. He is busy on Wednesday and Thursday . Peter goes home at two thirty on Friday afternoon. He often plays with Sally and Paul at home. He is busy on Friday.

Period III My name’s Betty and I’m very busy. Busy, busy, busy, but I’m very happy. I’m always busy on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, And sometimes busy on Thursday and Friday. I’m usually busy, but I’m always happy. And I’m never busy on Saturday and Sunday.
