教学设计
1.
Teaching objectives:
*Enable the Ss to learn the phrases: painting a picture, riding a horse.
*Enable the Ss to learn the sentences: Nick is swimming. He/She is playing football.
2. Teaching important point: be+doing.
3. Teaching difficult point: v+ing.
4.Emotion aids: Stimulate the students’ interest of learning English.
5.Teaching aids: CAI , pictures.
6. Teaching process:
Step 1: Warming up
1.Greetings
2.Say a chant
T: Well done! Let’s say a chant and do the actions. Are you ready?
S: Yes.
T: Let’s go.
S: Run, run, I can run. Jump, jump, I can jump. Swim, swim, I can swim. Play, play, play football, Ride, ride, ride a horse.
Step 2 : Presentation
1.T:Super! Today we’ll learn Unit 10 Holidays. Who can spell holidays? What’s meaning?
S:It means
“假日,假期。’’
T: On holidays, what do you usually do?
S: Watch TV/ Swim/ Ride a bike.
T: That’s interesting! Today Toby has got a holiday, what’s he doing? Guess.
S: Toby is (riding a horse)
T: Maybe
S: Toby is painting a picture.
T: You’re clever! Look, what is Toby doing?
S: Toby is swimming.
T: Yes. Who can read it?
(Ss read the sentences.)
T: Listen, what is Toby doing?
S: Toby is riding a horse.
T: Great! Toby’s day is very interesting, yes?
S: Yes!
