Step 1: Greetings and warming-up T: Class begins.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

T: How are you, today?

Ss: Star team, star team, go go go.

T:What can you do? Tell me.(问的过程中,point to the video, 并板书“what can you do?”)

Step 2: study “what can he do?”“He can play football.”以及小chant。

T: Good job. Let’s read together. Close your eyes. Surprise! (I 变成he)。What happened?

T: 板书ball—football. ay—lay—play.(在ay下面划横线,并读ay/ei/并用自然拼读法教授bay, may, day, say, way).

T: Follow me. “play football, play football. He can play football.”(先整体学。手势跟上,先升调,后降调。教两遍,三大组pk。) T: You imitate very well. Let’s take a challenge. Who can read? (出示小chant)

T: Wow. Super. I’m so proud of you.(A star/moon/sun for him/her.) Let’s read it together.

You can read it. But I can sing it. (自己唱一遍,全班学生pk自己。鼓点!)

T: I am sorry, boys and girls. I can’t hear you. So I will win 5 points.

T: Wow, super. Each group will get a star/moon/sun.(和老师pk三遍,激发了学生的学习激情。)

Step3: play basketball

T: I know you are super. I am super, too. Look, what can I do?

Ss: play basketball.

(板书basketball,并运用自然拼读法。)

T:Follow me, “play basketball,play basketball.”(每个组教一遍,小火车展示。关注其他学生是否跟着小声读。)

T:Who can play basketball?

Step 4: play ping-pong

Step 6: make your own picture book

T: One minute for you, talk about in your group. What will you draw.

T: Sing the chant in your group.

Step7: Finish your own picture book, and sing it out.
