I. Warming up and revision

1.Greetings : “Good morning, boys and girls. How was your holiday? What did you eat / drink on Spring Festival?”Do you like playing games?

Now let’s play a game.

(设计意图：通过询问学生寒假过得怎么样及春节吃了什么，与学生拉近了距离，使学生很快进入上课状态，并为新课做铺垫) 2. Review.

II. New Concepts Lead in: I enjoy these food very much and I especially like hot dogs. Today we will learn a new lesson Module 1 Unit 1 I want a hot dog, please.(出示课题) This is a hot dog. It looks good.

（设计意图：通过热狗引出课题，描述热狗看上去不错，带出本课重点单词look的新用法即“看上去，看起来”）

Text 1 1.Now let’s watch a very interesting video of part one. Here comes a “hot”

dog. What’s a “hot” dog? Is it really a dog? Now let’s have a look. 2.Yes, a “hot” dog is a real dog and it looks hot, so we call it a “hot” dog. 3.This time, let’s follow and try to imitate .Let’s see who can read best. （设计意图：通过提出观看有趣的视频及来了一只“热”狗并提出问题，能够引发学生思考带着疑问去认真观看第一部分视频，通过解释“hot”dog 是一只狗，它看上去很热，又一次引出look的用法，进一步巩固新单词look的用法。）

B. Text 2 1.Our old friends Daming, Simon and Simon’s dad are in a fast food restaurant, what do they want ? Let’s watch the video of part 2.

2.Group work: Show some questions and ask the students to find out the answers to the questions and circle the new words and guess their meanings according to the context. (1)What does Daming want ? (2)What does Simom want ? (3)What does Simon’s dad want?

(4)How much is the meal? （设计意图：让学生泛读课文，遇到生词根据上下文猜测词意，引导学生通过小组合作讨论，自主完成阅读语篇的学习任务。）

4. Show the second and the third question and then ask two students to

answer. Solve the new word “cola” and the new sentence “Be careful!”

5.Show the last question and solve the new words”dollar, cent”. Tell the students 1 dollar=100cents （设计意图：每一个问题的答句里都引出一个或两个新单词，在句子里带出生词并解决，做到词不离句，通过讲单词cola提醒学生可乐很满拿着要小心，别弄洒了引出句子Be careful!）

（设计意图：这是一个很短的句型操练，一方面让学生将新单词dollar, cent活学活用到询问问价钱的句子中，同时也为后面的对话练习及表演做铺垫。）

5.Solve the new word “cashier”: We can buy these fast food in the fast food restaurant. Show a picture of fast food restaurant. This is a fast food restaurant and she is a cashier. （设计意图：引出新词cashier）

6. Practice the important sentences of the lesson:
