Ability objectives 学生掌握动词变现在分词的规则,并且会说现在进行时的句子.The sun is shining. The cows are drinking water.

Step1:

Revision (Look and say)

T:What is he doing?

S:He is playing basketball T:What is she doing?

(教学意图:课件出示图片,看图说出图上的人或物正在做什么?以此复习现在进行时,借此训练学生说的能力)

Step 3:Lead in (Listen and say )

Have the students listen to the audiotape and read follow it. After reading, let the students find out.Ving.

(教学意图:利用听力来训练学习活动一) Step4 : Activity 2 1. Listen to the tape of the text.

2.Have the students read the text and find out the following words.(

shining ,blowing, drinking ,swimming ,jumping ,playing)

3.Read the text together.

4. Answer the questions. a. What’s the weather like? ---The sun is shining and the wind is blowing. b. What are the cows doing? ---They are drinking water.

c. Are the birds singing? ---Yes, they are.

d. What is Daming doing? --- He is playing hide-and-seek with Simon. e. What are the rabbits doing? ---The rabbits are jumping. f. Are they happy? ---Yes, they are. They are having a lovely time.

5. Retell the text. (教学意图:利用初听课文,泛读课文找出关键词,再

齐读课文回答问题,来掌握课文内容,最后复述课文加深印象。锻炼了学生听,说和读的能力。)
