1、知识目标: (1)掌握本单元的重点词汇、短语及句型。如:play, third ,time , bark, loudly; have a birthday party, play the suona, the third time; Daming is playing the suona,but the phone rings. (2 ) 能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

(3) 学会运用“but”进行表示转折,能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

2、技能目标: (1)能够听录音跟读课文,理解本单元新词汇在具体语境中的运用。能够读懂语段,理解语段的意思。

2学情分析

本单元的学习任务就是谈论生日,学生有话可说。六年级的学生他们思维敏捷,富有想象力,语言表述能力较强,能够自然地用日常英语进行交流。对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心,充满了表现欲。

Daming is playing the suona again, but the bell rings. Daming is playing the suona for the third time, but the dog starts to bark very loudly. 教学难点: (1)能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

一.热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision) 1. Greetings. 2.Talking about the pictures,复习现在进行时态。

二.导入(Lead in ) 观看活动1的录像,listen and say. Ask and answer the questions. 1 、What 's the weather like now ? 2 、What are the frogs doing ? 活动2【讲授】讲授新知

二.呈现新课(Presentation) 1.谈话导入新课。创设情境Today is Daming’s birthday, Daming is

having a birthday party, What is Daming doing ?

2.观看课文动画视频,初步感知课文(Watch the video of the text.) 并且思考What is Daming doing ? 3. 再次观看课文动画视频，回答三个问题

A．Daming is playing the suona, but what happens? B. Daming is playing the suona again, but what happens? C. Daming is playing the suona for the third time ,but what happens? 4.Listen,point and read.(读出你所喜欢的段落) 5.看书中图片，用英语描述图片中发生的事情，找出句子的共同点。
