What do you want to eat? 一、教材分析：

本课是外语教学与研究出版社出版的3-6年级的教材中的其中一册中的内容，注重语言交际能力的培养，该课涉及到六年级下册第一模块第二单元。由于Unit 1学习了如何在快餐店点餐以及询问价格，为本课学习一些菜单上的食物学会如何下订单打下了基础，学会询问“What do you want to eat/drink? ”以及回答“I want some chicken and rice/a cola, please. ”，学生们学会一些食物名称并学会了下相关的订单，由于班级人数不多，教师应该给每一位学生参与下订单编对话的机会，让每一位学生都有锻炼口语表达的机会。

二、教学目标：

1. 知识目标：

（1）What do you want to eat?

I want some chicken and rice, please.

（2）What do you want to drink?

I want a cola, please.

能力目标：

能用英语来表达如何看菜单下订单。

3.

情感目标：

激发学生的学习热情，了解中西方的饮食文化异同，并进行文明礼仪教育。

三、教学重难点：

中西方在价格表达上的异同及看菜单下订单的相关表达。

四、教学用具：

Tape recorder, a restaurant menu, some food

五、教学准备：

课前调查班级中谁会看菜单并亲自下过订单，让学生们彼此交流感受。

Step 2:New Teaching:

Activity 1: Look at the menu. Then ask your food and pay for your food.

Show a restaurant menu to the students.

2.

Have them look at the menu and talk with their partners. 3.

Do the activity in their groups.

4.

Have one group come to the front.

Activity 2: Match (Race)

You’ll be the winner of this week if you get the flag.

(谁在单位时间内点出的食物样数多并准确算出应付的钱数，就获得周冠军。)

Activity 3: Listen, say and sing

1.

Have the students look at their books and try to read the sentences of song.

2.

Read after the teacher and to know the meaning.

3.

Listen to tape twice.

4. Sing follow it.

Put some food on the desk.

Say out the name of the food.

Then ask and answer in turns.

Buy and pay for your food.

八、Retrospection:

Teacher leads the students to go into a fast food restaurant and teacher teaches them to order the food in the fast food restaurant. Then teacher teaches them how to pay for food with money. By the model, the students can quickly learn how to order in the restaurant. Most of students act very well because they are interested in the order. The teaching result is good comparatively. Anyway, the students need to practice more.
