教学目标

1、知识目标: (1)掌握本单元的重点词汇、短语及句型。如:play, third ,time , bark, loudly; have a birthday party, play the suona, the third time; Daming is playing the suona,but the phone rings. (2 ) 能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

(3) 学会运用“but”进行表示转折,能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

2、技能目标: (1)能够听录音跟读课文,理解本单元新词汇在具体语境中的运用。能够读懂语段,理解语段的意思。

(2)能够进一步练习和巩固现在进行时的用法。

学情分析

本单元的学习任务就是谈论生日,学生有话可说。六年级的学生他们思维敏捷,富有想象力,语言表述能力较强,能够自然地用日常英语进行交流。对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心,充满了表现欲。

重点难点

教学重点

重点词汇:play, third , time , bark , loudly; have a birthday party, play the suona, the third time 重点句型:Daming is playing the suona, but the phone rings. Daming is playing the suona again, but the bell rings. Daming is playing the suona for the third time, but the dog starts to bark very loudly. 教学难点: (1)能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

教学过程

一、热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision) 1. Greetings and divide groups.. 2. Game: <推火车游戏>（激发学生的学习兴趣。）

3.Talking about the pictures,复习引入新单词

third , time , bark ,

loudly，play。

二、导入(Lead in ) 看图问:What’s this? It’s suona, 引出短语play the suona

三、呈现新课(Presentation) 谈话导入新课。

1.创设情境：一件事情发生时，另外一件事情同时发生。

2.课件出示图片，学生练习说句子。

四、课文教学(Text Learning)活动2【讲授】

1.Listen and point,整体感知课文。

创设情境Today is Daming’s birthday, Daming is having a birthday party, What is Daming doing ? 并找出带有“but”的句子,请同学读出句子。并知道当一件事发生的时候,另一件事突然发生,需要用but来连接。（板书）

（看三幅图通过语境和讲课文中的三个重点句型及新单词、短语教授给学生。培养学生看图说话的能力。）

2.观看课文动画视频,初步感知课文回答问题。Show CAI 3. Listen and repeat. 4.Listen and choose. Show CAI 1) Daming is playing the suona.But what happens? 2) Daming is playing the suona again. But what happens? 3) Daming is playing the suona for the third time. But what happens? 5.学生自读课文,理解课文。
