通过读故事的形式了解一般过去式的用法，以及动名词的用法。

1,了解词汇a piece of meat,better,drophappily,its,wood,lost,cross,another. 预设

2,能听懂，会说，会读单词：reading,playing,singing,swimming,running,dancing, 目标

magic,science,fairy tales. 3,能运用形容词的比较级，能听懂，理解会说本课故事。

a piece of 用法：一张，一件，一块，一条…一般来说，不可数名词不可以用数目来计量，若要统计则要借助变量单位，英语中，对于不可数名词计量最常用的词就是piece，例如：

a piece of paper 一张纸 a piece of news 一条消息

a piece of chalk 一支粉笔 a piece of music 一首曲子

a piece of wood 一块木头

a piece of bread 一块面包

2,Learn Part A 1)Listen and answer

What did the man do in the shop? Was there a river near its home? Was there a dog in the river? Where was the dog’s meat? 2）Listen and repeat 老师朗读重点句子，学生跟读，复述，说出中文意思。

3）Listen and find:找出文章中出现的动词过去式，读读：go-went,is-am give-gave,walk-walked,see-saw have-had, open-opened,drop-dropped 3,动词过去式的变化规律

1）一般的在词尾加ed,结尾时e的加d. 2)末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的重读闭音节，应双写后一个字母再加ed. 3)以辅音字母加y结尾的，变y为i加ed. 4)不规则的过去式：go-went,is-am…

Step 3 Practise 1，分组复述故事，注意过去式的读音和变化。

2，用a piece of说几个短语，越多越好。

Step 4 Homework

1，朗读课文和单词，复述故事

2，抄写B部分的词汇，并默写下来。
