Pre-task preparations 1.Greetings and Leading in.

1.Talk about your favourite clothes.

Do you like beautiful clothes? Yes, everyone like beautiful clothes. I like beautiful clothes too and I like dress best. What clothes do you like best? Try to describe one of your favourite clothes in groups of four.

Ss：Talk about one of their favourite clothes in groups.

eg. I like dress best. I have many dresses. A pink dress is my favourite. It's long and thin. It’s beautiful. I like it very much.

2. We modern people like beautiful clothes. The ancient people like beautiful clothes too. There is an emperor. He likes beautiful clothes too. Let’s learn the story ‘ The emperor’s new clothes’. While-task procedures 1.

Introduce the characters in the story. Show the following questions and ask the students to read the story and then answer the questions.

Ask the students read the story and act out the story then ask some groups to do presentation.

Post-task activities 1. Design a costume for Children’s Day.

让学生根据练习册Task 服装图片和句型提示语同学问答，了解各自想要的派对服装。然后学生根据回答信息给同学设计一套派对服装。最后作为回家作业完成Think and write , 描述自己设计的服装。

2. Listen and judge.

教学反思：本课适合使用情景交际及角色扮演等教学方法，让学生通过角色扮演在真实情境中进行对话，可以激发学生开口说英语的兴趣，让学生在真实的情境中练习和运用所学知识，但是少部分学生对故事复述还是得巩固。
