本模块的话题是有关

动物（animals）的主题，教学内容是谈论濒危动物和如何拯救濒危动物。本节课是U4的第一课时，教学内容是let’s read。

二、学情分析：

学生对动物话题具有天然的兴趣以及一定的情感需求，因而能自发积极地调动感官、思维和生活体验开展学习。学生在Unit 3学习掌握动物的特征，生活环境等等。学生能听懂、读懂与其语言水平相当的短文，具备一定的阅读能力，能就某一话题进行谈论或描述。

三、教学目标：

1、语言知识

1）能初步掌握本课的四会单词和短语；

2）能初步朗读所学课文，语音正确清晰，语调自然。

2、语言技能

1）能读懂与课文难度相当的有关本模块话题的文段；

2）能用正确的语音语调朗读课文；

3）能根据思维导图进行语篇复述。

3、情感态度

动物是人类的朋友，不管是野生还是圈养动物，爱护动物人人有责，和动物的和谐相处，也是文明的象征。

4、学习策略

1）通过听说读写看的操练，使学生对课文内容熟悉，并扎实地掌握；

2）通过思维导图的展示，学生能形成清晰的文章结构，利用思维导图进行复述课文。
