Lesson F What’s For Supper? FuLe Primary School Ren Xianglian I. Teaching material:

This is the first class of this lesson.It centres food.Most of the students have known many words of food. such as :apple,pear,banana and so on. In this lesson, we are going to learn some words of vegetables.I will set up various of interesting scenes by multi-media .Thus, the students can learn under the happy and relaxed circumstances. On the other hand,I will ask them to practice to master the sentences. II. Teaching aims: 1. Aims on the knowledge:Help students know the words of vegetables. 2. Aims on the abilities: Cultivate the students’interest of learning English.Train their abilities of listening,speaking and acting. Improve the students’oral English. Develop their communicative ability. 3. Aims on the emotion: Develop their correct attitude towards English learning . III. Key-points: 1.Arouse the students’

desire to learn and to take part in activities 2.Master the words of this Lesson, such as peas,beans,tomatoes and carrots..Let them understand the meaning,read correctly,we should pay more attention to their pronunciation. IV. Difficult points: 1.Consolidate the words 2.Use the sentences “I like…” and “I don't’ like…” correctly. V. Teaching methods:

It’s generally believed that if we want to achieve a goal and develop the students’

ability of using English, we should arouse the students’

desire to learn and to take part in activeties.In this lesson,I’ll play some games,that can arouse their interest and enliven the atmosphere of the class. I’ll use the multi-media and some pictures too. That will make the students be more interested.

VI. Teaching procedures: Step1.greeting and review. Say Hello to students,talk about the day and weather.

Then review the words of fruits and the song Like And Love. Step2.Show them some pictures to review the words of fruits and the sentence “I like…”

T:What are they? Ps:Apples. T:Do You like apples? Ps:Yes T:Very good!How about this one?What are they?

Ps:Bananas. T:Great! Do you like bananas? Ps:Yes. T:Yes,I do,I like bananas. Then take turns to practice. Step3.Magic box Show pictures to them. 1).tomato and tomatoes. T:There are something to eat,they are delicious,look,it’s round,it’red.Do You know it? Ps:…? T:It’s a tomato, read after me,tomato. Ps:Tomato T:Great! Then show a picture of many tomatoes T:They are tomatoes. tomatoes .Ps:Tomatoes Compare tomato with tomatoes Then take turns to read them. 2).carrot and carrots 3)vegetables. Teach and practice with the same ways. Step4Games 1)What’s missing. Show them the pictures of the new words,take some of them away.Then ask the students “What’s missing?”

2)Tiger and Elephant. There are two kinds of words. One is about fruits, the other is about vegetables.And there are two groups too, fruits are in the group Tiger, vegetables are in the group Elephant. Look at the picture and read the words, then say animals. Step5Practice. Practice the new words and the sentences “I like…”

Summary recognize students learn English well and also sing very good songs to listen to, also announced whom the winner is today. Step8Say Goodbye to students.
