一、内容： Topic 3 Section A 二、教学目的要求：（1）学习并掌握新词汇lady, gentleman, sale, for sale, guest, kind-hearted（2）学习如何致开幕词。

三、重点：学习如何致开幕词

四、难点：进行有关开幕式的角色扮演。

五、教法：Task-basted Language Teaching 六、教具：CAI 七、课时安排：1 八、教学过程：

（一）、导入新课：

Stage 1 (3mins)：Getting students ready for learning 1. Focus their attention on the teacher. 2. Talk about something about the Food Festival, asking and answering with object clauses in pairs. （二）、新课：

Stage 2（10mins)：Pre – listening 1. Talk about the opening ceremony of the Food Festival. Learn the new words. 2. Talk about what the hosts will say in the opening ceremony. 3. Read the form in 1b and predict the answers. Stage3（5mins)：While - listening

1. Listen to 1a and find the useful expressions that the hosts used at the beginning and the end of the opening ceremony.

2. Listen to 1a again and fill in the blanks in 1b. Stage 4（19mins)：Post- listening 1.Play the tape recording of 1a. 2. Choose one situation and act as hosts in pairs. 3. Ask the students to change 1a into a short passage with the help of 1b. （三）、小结（巩固新课）：Summarize what they have learned today. （四）、作业：Finish the HMK. （五）、板书设计：Blackboard design
