（一）语言知识目标

1、能认读和正确书写词汇：meter，fast，try，Sports Day，long jump，high jump等。

2、能听懂会说句型：We are going to have a Sports Day. Who will…?I will. 3、学唱歌曲：High Jump and Long Jump。

（二）语言技能目标

1、能用I will…..表达自己打算在运动会上参加哪些运动项目。

2、.能用所学语言询问他人所擅长的运动项目并制订运动会报名表。

3、通过交流与合作，培养学生的互助精神与合作学习能力。

（三）情感目标

（六）教具准备

1、单词卡片：

Sports Day，meter，fast，try，do high jump, do long jump等卡片。

2、跑步、跳高、跳远等运动项目的图片和学校运动会的图片。

3、课文三幅图片和Peter，Julia，Yang Ming的头像。

4、教学光盘，课件。

（七）、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1、Greeting 2、Free talk: How are you today ?

How is the weather ? It’s a sunny day for doing sports .Do you like sports? What’s your favorite sport? I like running ,do you like running ? Can you play basketball? Can you swim?........ (设计意图：通过进行师生之间的问候，愉快、轻松而融洽。通过唱读富有节

T: Yes. They are having Sports Day. Read after me: Sports Day. Ss: Sports Day! 2、lead in the title: Today we are going to learn Unit 5 Sports Day Part A Step 3 Presentation

1、present the task: You know Every two years we will have a Sports Day ,look ,This year our school will have a Sports Day on June 5th.we will make a name table, I hope after learning this lesson, you can finish it . Lead in the text: YangMing’s school is going to have a Sports Day too .let’s go and have a look . 2.listen and underline : Now ,listen and think: What will they do on Sports Day?” Underline the sports names in your book. Teacher present the table on the blackboard: Name Sports

After listening ,ask some students to write down the sports names on the blackboard. 3、check and learn new words: run 100 meters，do high jump，do long jump （1）Nice ,you are clever. They are going to run 100meters ,do high jump, do long jump on Sports Day .Do you know 100meters? （2）、learn word “meter”，Teacher use rulers to practice：“This is one meter, This is two meters…one hundred meters. lead students to say out :run 200 meters，run 600 meters，run 400 meters （3）、use pictures and activities to learn :high jump, long jump. 4、Learn sentence: Who will…? I will. (1)、Now we know they will do so many sports on Sports Day . so Let’s watch the video again and guess “Who will run 100 meters? Who will do long jump? Who will do high jump? Teacher writes down “who will “on the table. Who will sports run 100 meters? do long jump? do high jump?

(2)、listen and find the answer. （3）、Teacher stick the names:Peter，Julia，Yang Ming beside the table, and write ：I will. Who will sports run 100 meters? do long jump? do high jump? （4）、find the sentence in the book, and read together: Who will run 100meters ?I will. How about Miss Gao say to Peter ? Learn fast: Can you run very fast/You can run very fast ./I can run very fast. 5）、How about Julia ?lead out :try Learn :try (I will try. She will try. Let me try.) (6)Game: quick _respond. Use the handlight to shine all the students ,and ask Who will……?The students should say :I will .and the the handlight shine over someone ,the one should stand up and say quickly :I will .The one who respond quickly should get a point. 4、listen and imitate (1)、listen and read together.
