《Unit 9 I can fly》教学设计（第1课时）

教材分析：

本课教学内容是辽师大版新课标三年级起点四年级下册《Unit 9 I can fly》第一课时

学情分析：

四年级的孩子天真活泼，对英语保持着比较浓厚的兴趣。但很多停留在说单词的程度，对运用句子表达的能力较差。因而主要利用教具和他们对小动物的浓厚兴趣来教学，最后达到能自由运用句子表达内容的程度。

教学方法：“TPR”教学法，小组合作学习。

教学目标：

Knowledge:1、Describe abilities of the animals which they know using the sentence structure “ What can you do? I can …”

2、Can read and write the words: fly , swim , run , Walk ,jump . Ability:

Ask and answer about the information of the animals using the structures“What can you do? I can …”

Moral training：Raise the awareness that sentence structures are used to convey ideas with words and language are used to communicate.

教学重点: 1、Talking about the animals’abilities. 2、Using the sentence“ What can you do? I can …”

to ask and answer. 教学难点：Using “ What can you do? I can …”to ask for information in the life . 教具准备：Cards , animal pictures and ppt. 教学过程：

Step 1：Warm up 1. Say the chant“ What can you do?”

2 . Greetings: “ Hello, boys and girls. I’m glad to meet you.”

T：What’s the weather like today? S：It’s…. T: Can you tell me what animals you know S: Bird , dog... Step 2: Lead in The teacher shows the students a Monkey King. Guess ,what can a Monkey King do? Step 3: Presentation 1、look at the picture 。

T : What's this ? Ss: It's a bird T : What's it doing ?

2、Learn the word “fly” 3、Learn the sentence “I can fly .”

4、Drill the sentences. 5、Learn the sentence “What can you do? I can fly.” 6、Drill the sentences. 7、Look the cartoon ,learn the word “fish ”

8、Drill the sentence “What can you do? I can swim.”

9、Listen to the tape, then read after the tape . 10、To learn the other words in the same way. Step 4 Drill and Practice 1、Look at the picture then read the words and the sentences. 2、Listen then match. 3、Ask and answer the animals each other. 4、Look at the picture then using the sentences “What can you do? I can …”to ask and answer in pairs. 5、Listen ,do ,then read . Step 5 Listen and say. 1. The teacher shows the students the picture of part1. Guess , what do they say? Then let the students listen to the tape. Follow to read it loudly.

2. Ask the students to come to the front and act the dialogue in teams. Step 6 Consolidation 1、Using the sentence“What can you do? I can…” to ask and answer. 2、Guessing game：“Now, it's time for a game. I’ll give each group an animal in a paper. The table monitor keeps it. The rest ask questions “What can you do? ”and the table monitor can say “I can …”to give information. Step 7 Homework. 1、Sum up. 2、Write down all the animals you've learned before, and make sentences with “What

can you do? I can …”.
