1.教学目标

1.知识目标: 掌握并运用单词:cup, planned, baseball, more, smile, mistake, with, said 并能够区分单词:cup、cap. 能运用 Why do you have cups on your heads? Why are you laughing? 等句型来询问不理解的事情的原因,并能用过去式的语言对过去发生的事情进行描述。

2.能力目标: 在听、说、读、做的过程中,学习语言,培养学生的综合能力。

3.情感目标: 培养学生学习英语的兴趣,鼓励敢于开口说英语,不怕犯错误。

2.学情分析

学生从三年级开始学习英语,进入六年级的学生已经对英语很熟悉了，也有一定的基础。但是有一部分学生不是很喜欢上英语课,基础也差，他们掌握的词汇不多,对阅读课就更没有兴趣,所以在设计教学时应多设计一些新颖、简单的活动,让课堂上的每个孩子参与到英语课的学习中来。

3.重点难点

教学重点:能用“Why …?”对不理解的事情进行询问并回答。

教学难点: 综合运用一般现在时态、现在进行时态和一般过去时态。

4.教学过程

Step1 Warm－up 1. Greeting and free talk 2.Say a chant. It’s a pen, not a hen. It’s a sheep, not a ship. It’s a horse, not a house. It’s a cat, not a cap. All of them ,don’t make mistakes. Step 2.lead in T:(take out a cap and a cup)Whats this ? Look at the first picture of Activity2. What’s on their heads?

Listen and read Activity2 to try to answer “why do they put some cups on their heads?”

Step 3. Presentation Today we’ll play a passing game. 1. Read the new words. (1)Ask some pupils to read. (2)Read them together. 2.Read and find out the verbs past tense, then write down the original form.--Read the text. (1)Read by pupils themselves. (2)Show some verbs of past form .Ask pupils to be the teacher’s teacher. Then learn to read and understand the verbs. (3)Ask three of them to read the three parts.

(1)Ask some ones to answer:Why do they put some cups on their heads? (2)Read the sentences together. (3)Ask pupils to pay attention to the pronunciation of the two words: “caps” and cups”.
