一、教材分析

本单元的内容是《英语》（外研社新标准）（三年级起点）六年级M5U2 He’s riding his bike ,but it starts to rain.教材以生活中经常遇到的事件为话题，内容贴近六年级学生的生活和学习实际。功能是描述正在做一件事情时，另一件事情同时发生的场景。教材以激发学生学习兴趣为出发点，对学生进行听、说、认读，书写等知识与技能方面的训练，强调学生在学习过程中的感悟、体验、实践、参与以及思维能力的发展，培养学生的综合语言运用能力和学生的观察、创造和合作等各方面的能力。

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是即将毕业的六年级学生，学生已经有了一定的英语语言运用能力。学生的好奇心强，依然对于英语有着强烈的兴趣，敢于开口说英语，在学习上认真、进取，乐于在课堂上积极完成老师布置的各项作业。本班的绝大多数学生认知能力较强，课堂气氛活跃，学生愿意进行交际，在交际中学习英语，在游戏中体验英语，认识英语。所以通过游戏、竞赛、画画等活动会更好的提高学生的兴趣。

三、教学目标

1、语言技能

（1）全体学生能听懂，会说：He’s riding his bike ,but it starts to rain. （2）全体学生能朗读课文，阅读相关句子。

（3）全体学生能按照要求完成语句书写。

2、语言知识

⑴描述正在做一件事情时，另一件事情同时发生的场景。

⑵全体学生能运用：He’s riding his bike ,but it starts to rain. ⑶部分学生能理解，运用：nothing。

⑷进一步强化语音语调，初步达到语调达意。

3、情感态度

（这两项参照新课标内容，以学生为行为主体）

学生在学习过程中乐于感知并积极尝使用英语。

4、学习策略

能初步借助简单的工具书学习英语。

5、文化意识

在学习和日常交际中，进一步注意到中外文化的异同。

六、教学过程

（一）复习导入Warm-up and lead in（ 5分钟）

1.Greeting. T: Class begins. 2.Free talk T:Last class , we know Daming is havig a birthday party. When he is playing the suona ,but what happens? Who can tell us . These pictures will help you . S:….

T: Wonderful. Let’s read it together.(PPT show the answers and read together.) 【设计意图】利用英语师生交谈，让学生动起来，活跃课堂气氛，激发学生的学习热情和兴趣。调动了学生的参与性，复习了上一模块所学的知识内容，并通过前一模块所学引出新知识，将语言点切入到本课的话题上。对本课的导入活动做好话题上的铺垫。

3.Lead-in and teach the word “nothing”. T: What can you see in the picture ?(PPT show the picture of activity1) Ss:

The bell is ringing. The dog is barking. Little Tom is crying. T: But Sam knows nothing.Now watch the CD-ROM and then answer my question: Why does Sam know nothing? Teach the word “nothing”. S: Because he is listening to music. T: Read the chant after the CD.

【设计意图】通过师生间的交流，很自然地带入学生进入本课的第一部分的学习，教师在提出问题的同时，学习新词“noting”。为学生的课文学习降低了理解上的难度。

（二）任务呈现Task presentation（ 5 分钟）

This class, we will do the further study : When a thing is happening ,but another happens . At the end of our class , we will help Lingling introduce(介绍) one of her posters . 【设计意图】用简明扼要的话语将本课教学任务呈现给学生，让学生明确本课的学习目标使之有目的地去学习，直接激活学生学习新语言的参与兴趣。

（三）课文学习Text learning（ 8分钟）

1.Look at the screen.Sam has six good friends .Answer my questions:What is he/she doing? 2， When they are doing these things, but what happens ? Watch the CD-ROM and then match the sentences.

3,Listen and read after the CD. 4,Read the text by yourselves . 5,Let several pupils read the text by different ways.

多种方式阅读(单人读，小组读，齐读)，强调学生的语音语调，纠正读错的发音。

6, recite the text with pictures. 【设计意图】在真实的语言情境中，理解对话或语篇的内容，掌握对话或语篇大意。

帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯，形成正确的学习策略。

（四）训练巩固 Practice（ 10分钟）

1，Activity3.

Look, match and say. T：There are six pictures in the screen.Picture1,2,3,A,B,C. Now work in groups. Talk about how to match and how to describe the pictures. 2， Activity4. Turn to page 30.Let’s learn a song . First listen and read . Learn the words and short phrases: wave, above, call out, wake up. Then say the poem after the tape . 【设计意图】1.帮助学生准确地掌握本单元的句型结构等语言知识；

2. 学生在教学活动中把所学的知识转化成语言运用能力。

（五）任务完成 Task completion(12 分钟) 1 . Activity6. This is a poster of Lingling’s party. Lingling says: Xiaofei and I are playing ,but… Now work in pairs. Talk about how to help Lingling introduce his poster to her friends.These words will help you to finish the work . Let several pupils talk about the poster ,then let all the pupils write it on the notebook .(大屏幕展示学生的完成情况，在学生的写的方便给予指导) 【设计意图】对学生是否能够运用所学新语言做事情做直接反馈检测，培养学生能就具体情境正确应用语言的交际能力。

（六）小结与布置作业 Summary and homework（ 2 分钟）

S: 1,What did you learn? Today’s homework: All the students: 1、Write the word “nothing” five times. 2、Describe(描述) the pictures in M5U2. Some of the students: 1、Make a poster about your party like Lingling , and talk about it.

【设计意图】设计意图：通过教师的总结或是教师引导学生的自我总结，对本节课的英语语言知识和能力进行归纳总结，既让学生会明确本节课的课后复习巩固目标和重点，又帮助学生形成明确的语言意识。
