一、教材分析：

本模块选自小学新标准三起第八册Module5 Unit1，这一模块语言学习的功能是如何描述当某人正在干某事时突然被打断的表达。根据教学大纲要求，六年级的英语学习要在低年级的听、说、演、唱，游戏的基础上，开始初步用读和写的方法来学习英语，逐步培养学生读和写英语的习惯和能力。课标要求学生能根据要求为图片、实物等写出简短的描述。为学生创造在真实的语境中学会描述物体的特征，要求内容从生活实际出发,贴近生活,便于学生容易掌握。

本单元通过Daming 正在举办生日聚会，表演唢呐时三次被打断的情景，让学生理解文意，并熟练运用现在进行时和一般现在时。

二、学情分析：

本单元的学习任务就是谈论生日，学生有话可说。六年级的学生他们思维敏捷，富有想象力，语言表述能力较强，能够自然地用日常英语进行交流。对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心，充满了表现欲。

三、教学目标:

1.知识目标：

（1）让全体学生能听、说、认、读play, third, time, bark , loudly四个单词。

（2）使大多数学生掌握Daming is having a birthday party

2.能力目标

（1）培养学生的听、说能力以及能用所学的语言描述图片。

（2）通过视、听让学生充分理解课文内容并把所学的语言运用到现实生活中。

3.情感目标

鼓励学生用所学的语言去描述生活中的场景。通过多种形式的活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

四、教学重点：

本课所出现的新单词和句型Daming is having a birthday party .

五、教学难点：

能够用所学的词汇和句型交流。

六、教法与学法：情境教学法，直观教学法，任务型教学法，合作学习法，以旧带新法。

本节课主要采用任务型教学法，让学生在一系列的教学活动中有目的地学习，合作教学不仅可以使师生之间、学生之间更有效地进行语言交际；而且还可以培养学生的合作意识、团队精神，进而促使学生相互学习，共同提高，有力地促进了课堂效率的提高。

以旧带新法，通过对已学过知识，现在进行时和一般现在时的复习导入，让学生能够更好地理解新知识，并掌握新知识。
