Period 1:Ben and Kitty’ home life Ben and Kitty are brother and sister. They live in a big flat. There are five rooms--- two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Kitty’s father likes reading books in the living room. Kitty does her homework in the living too. Ben often makes a model plane in the bedroom. Kitty’s mother cooks dinner in the kitchen and washes her hair in the bathroom. They are all very busy! Dad: Kitty, where are you? Kitty: I’m in the living room. I’m doing my homework,

Dad: Ben, where are you? Ben: I’m here, Dad. I’m in my bedroom. I’m making a model plane.

Dad: Where are you, Maggie? Mum: I’m in the bathroom. I’m washing my hair. Can you cook dinner, please?

Ben: Dad, where are you? Let’s go and play basketball.

Dad: I’m in the kitchen. I’m cooking dinner. Come and help me, please.

Period 2: Earth Hour Good evening. It is Earth Hour now. Many people turn off the lights. What are they doing now? Let’s go and have a look.

Alice: Hi,

I’m Alice. I usually watch TV with my parents at night, but now we’re looking at the stars. My dad is telling me a lot about the stars. Kitty: Hello, my name’s Kitty. My brother Ben and I usually read storybooks before bedtime, but now Grandma is telling us a fairy tale. Sally: Hi, I’m Sally. I usually do my homework at night, but now we’re chatting with our parents. They are telling us a lot of interesting stories about themselves.
