教材分析：这是二年级拓展型课程里面的一个内容，让孩子们能了解母亲节的来历，并能正确认读母亲节的词汇: Mother’s Day, naughty , lazy, care for ,能运用Thanks, Mummy.来表达对于妈妈的爱。

学情分析：我所教的班级英语总体水平比较一般,而且两极分化的现象比较严重。针对这一特点我采用了分层教学的方法,让不同程度的学生在课堂上都能参与进来,各尽所能发挥自己的能力。

教学目标：

1、能正确认读母亲节的词汇: Mother’s Day , carnation, cake, tea, card。

2、能运用Here’s …for you. 来表达对于妈妈的爱。

3、通过有关母亲的说唱和歌曲来体会母亲的关怀，抒发对于母亲的热爱之情。

重点难点：

1、新单词和词组的正确发音。

2、把自己的感情融入到自己母亲身上。

策略手段：

1、通过学习这部分内容让学生掌握听、说、读、写这四方面的能力。

2、进一步体会母亲对我们平时生活中的关怀，抒发自己对母亲的热爱之情。

课前准备

PPT文稿，准备卡纸，彩笔，剪刀。

教学过程

Pre-task preparations Step 1. Sing a song“The finger family” (活跃气氛，为下面的活动创设情景) Step 2. T: Who is she？（Point to the Mother Finger）

S: She’s mother. T: How is your mother? Take out your photos（ppt, 出示有关以学习的句型复习）

S: This is my mother. She’s tall and thin. She’s nice. She can cook very well. I love her . (Invite more pupils to say something about their mothers) While-task procedures Step 1. .T: Look at ppt.(出示母亲微笑图片) How is the mother? S: She’s happy. T: Why? Because it’s Mother’s Day. T: Look it’s a cake. Drill the sound “cake”. Sing a song about the cake. Step 4. 1) I’m thirsty. I want some tea. This Mummy is thirsty too. What can you give her? (Listen to the song“我的好妈妈”) S: 茶
