Step 1 Pre-task preparation 1.
Free talk How is your home? Do you love your home? Why ?

Show them a picture of a shoe and let the Ss guess: Where do they live? Is it a home? 设计意图:自由谈话引出本课时话题,增强英语口语交际的自信心。

设计意图:用儿歌增强轻松愉快的课堂氛围,让学生在接受新知的同时也收获快乐。
Step 2 While-task procedure 1.
Show them a picture of a home and ask: What can you see in a home? 2.
Read and spell the words about rooms. Draw forth: dining room, study,balcony 设计意图:教师提问,学生根据图片或者实际情况回答,回顾所学单词,并新授单词。

Ask the Ss to talk about the questions: What rooms do you have in your old home? What rooms do you have in your new home? What is the room like? 设计意图:小组讨论,导入新授句型和课文。

Step 1 Pre-task preparation 1. Show many pictures about homes and make the Ss enjoy. 2. Free talk: Do you want to change your home? Why or why not? 设计意图:结合图片,自由会话,引发思考。引出主题。
Step 2 While-task procedure 1.
Show many pictures about wild geese and introduce them by asking the students to think: Why do they change homes? Where do they change homes? How do they change homes? 设计意图:欣赏图片,问题引领,引出文本。

Let the Ss read the four sentences and judge them after watching the story. 3.
Check the answers. 设计意图:观看视频动画,通过判断正误初步理解故事大意。

Play the recording of para1 and let them think about the question: Where do they fly in spring or in winter? How many times do they change homes every year? Focus on the words: twice, change, place, every, north, south, from…to…,fly south/ north 5.
