Teaching contents: The first period of unit4. Teaching type:New lesson Teaching aims:

1.Master the new phrases: get up, have a class, have lunch, play games, watch TV, go to bed.

2.Learn to use: -When do you+(verb phrase)?

Talk about one day of somebody. Teaching methods:

Situation teaching method; Performance training method; Game- playing teaching method. Teaching preparation: PPT;

Teaching steps: Step1: Warming-up and leading-in 1.

Greet each other.

Show the number cards from 1 to 12,then put them on the blackboard and do the rhythm:one one two two two, three three four four four…. 3.

Divide the class into 4 groups. Step2:Presentation and practice 1. Free talk: Look at a picture to know about the students’ one day. 2. Watch a video—“I love my day”.

3.Look at my time-table and review. 4. Learn and use the sentences “I/we+(verb phrase)”

to practice the new phrases: get up, have a class, have lunch, play games, watch TV, go to bed. 5. Play a game----I do you guess & you do we guess. 6. Try to ask and answer:

Learn to sing an English song----“I get up at six”.
