1)复习巩固并熟练运用上节课所学的本单元新单词和新句型;

2)能进一步熟练运用本单元重点句型“Are we going to …”

1) 能熟练运用新单词和新句型和阅读技巧来寻找关键信息;

2)能运用本单元所学的新单词和句型来进行简单的英语对话和写作

1)学会与同学合作交流,互助

2)培养学习的自信心和成就感

1)重点:掌握并熟练运用新单词和新句型

2)难点:运用本单元所学新单词和句型进行阅读、对话和写作

PPT,纸盒,纸条,磁钉,彩纸

教学过程(Teaching Process)

Step1 Greetings(问候)&Warming up(热身):TPR Activities:肢体语言说唱练习,

Step2 Lead in:Review复习导入

Games:”Start a train”开火车,Review new words by asking the students to read them aloud one by one and then read together.(story, listen to, interesting, talk about, put on, play, great, write about)

“Recite King”背诵大王,Review part A by asking three students to recite part A.

“G uessing game”猜一猜,Review part B by asking some students to guess the meaning of the pictures in Part B.

“Role play”角色表演Review part C by asking three pairs of students to role play the conversation. Encourage them to try to use their own words and body languages.

For example: ---Are we going to write/read…? (一般疑问句)

---Yes, we are. (肯定回答) ---No, we aren’t. (否定回答)

Step3 Part D Let’s Read.

一、引导学生,简要回顾英文邮件的格式特点:1,称呼后面用逗号。2,正文、称呼、署名都要顶格写。

二、引导学生,复习阅读技巧,寻找阅读中的关键信息:第一步:看首尾句,了解大意,第二步:读懂题目,根据题目意思,找关键词或短语。(先读题目要求:根据邮件内容,给下列图片排序。接着,快速看图片,大致了解图片内容,并联想上节课学过的短语和单词。接着,阅读短文,根据句子里的关键词,即:单词和短语,给图片排序)第三步:检查所选答案是否符合题意。

Next, ask all students to read and number the pictures by themselves.

In the end, ask a few students to number the pictures, and check the answers.

Step4Part E Let’s Write 让我们来写一写

Look, there are four children in your group. And there are four animals in the play. Which role are you going to play? First, I’ll give you five minutes to talk a bout the animals and the roles with

your group members and write about your roles. Then choose one student from each group to introduce your roles in front of the class, and show your writings on the blackboard.Then, check the answers.

Step5 Part F Let’s Have Fun开心一刻

Games:”Draw lots and say ” 抓阄

(教师准备一个纸盒,纸盒的四面事先写上本单元的重点短语和单词,纸盒里装着一些与学生生活相关的名词,老师旋转纸盒,学生上来抓纸条,并连贯读出纸盒正对全体学生那面的单词和纸条上的单词。读错了的同学要表演节目)

对本节课和本单元所学重点单词和句型进行总结和归纳

Step7 Homework

1)背诵Recite Part A、B、C,并复习本节课的学习内容

2)用本单元所学新句型be going to…造3个句字。

本节课是第二课时,教师通过一系列精心设计的游戏和练习来考查并巩固学生上节课所学本单元重点单词和句型的掌握和运用情况,充分体现了教师为主导,学生为主体的原则。课堂上学生积极性高,学习兴趣浓厚,大部分学生都能掌握本单元重点知识并熟练运用,教学效果明显。
