Step One: Warming-up and review.

1. Greetings and Free talk : Good morning! How are you? Are you happy? Is Gogo happy? Today is Gogo’s Birthday. Sing a birthday song for Gogo. Let’s see Gogo how to spend his birthday. In the morning, he wants to buy some fruits with Jenny at the Fruits Market.

2. Song: A birthday song

3. Let’s watch the conversation to see what fruits does Gogo like?

4.Watch Pictures and review the words: apples, bananas, these, those.

Step Two: Presentation.

1. Go on to learn the story and practice the key sentences.

2. Teach the sentence: ‘Don’t touch , Gogo.’ To surf the Internet and collect the information to teach the students don’t touch the dangerous things.

3. Have Ss read after the tape.

4. Role play. Put Ss into groups of two. Boys take the role of Gogo ，Girls take the role of Jenny and teacher is the shop

5. Have Ss act out the dialog. Step Three: Practice 2. 1.

Pair work: Make dialogues with partners. 2.

Show up on the platform.

Four: Extension.

Tell Ss to draw pictures of apples，pears or watermelons on separate sheets of paper. Have Ss lay their pictures out around the room face down on the floor. Make circles around the cards with jump ropes. Ss hop from one circle to another until T says Stop. Point at the cards and ask Ss What are these? Ss try to guess what cards they are standing on by making a sentence，e.g. They're (pears). Ss turn over their cards to check their answers. Ss start hopping again and continue playing.

Step Five: Summary and Homework.

Read the story together .

Homework

Retell the story to your parents .
