Lesson 12 John and Jack 一、课程分析

基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力和合作精神；使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能，形成一定的综合语言运用能力；培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。本课是第二单元的故事课，第二单元中我们分别学习了在早晨、晚上等时间段、在卧室里、周末、在家里能干的事情，第十二课John and Jack是对本单元所学活动的一个复习，并在故事中让学生感知运用第三人称单数形式介绍朋友的活动，激发学生对动物的热爱。

二、教学目标 1.知识与技能目标

a..学生能在图片和老师的帮助下听懂和读懂故事。

b.学生能正确的朗读故事，能在图片的帮助下分角色扮演故事. 2.情感态度目标

在知识学习中，激发学生爱的情感，爱护动物，珍爱生命。

3.学习策略目标

a.培养学生在图文并茂的情境下运用寻读方法读懂故事的能力。

b.通过小组合作,引导学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

三、学情分析 经过一年多的英语学习，学生们基本具备了听、说、读、写等能力，课堂上积极、专注，大胆表现，但也有一部分同学英语学习兴趣下降，课上不愿参与，出现走神、不积极等现象。班上还有一部分同学课堂上不敢表现自己,很不自信。因此我在进行教学设计时,把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,让学生在体验形式多样的活动的同时,把培养学生的阅读能力,增强他们的课堂活动参与意识,建立学生学习英语的自信心与兴趣点作为首要任务。

四、重点难点

教学重点:能运用寻读方法学习故事，体会故事的趣味性，并能就故事内容进行扮演。

教学难点：初步能在故事环境中运用动词第三人称单数形式表达朋友的活动。

五、教学策略：情景教学法、小组合作学习

（一）遵循英语教学规律，寓思想教育于语言教学之中。

在教学中，我努力挖掘教材中的思想教育因素，寓思想教育于语言教学之中，使学生形成良好的思想品德和道德情操。

（二）重视培养学习兴趣，创设轻松愉快、生动活泼的课堂气氛。

组织课堂教学时，我寓教于乐，通过游戏等方式使学生主动、大胆、愉快地参与教学活动。坚持以表扬、鼓励为主，注意观察学生的学习情绪，不断发展其求知欲，培养学生稳定而持久的英语学习兴趣。

（三）侧重听、说能力的培养，同时注意听、说、读、写的全面训练。

教学重在加强基本功训练，为学生继续学习打好基础。在听、说、读、写四项基本技能的训练中，侧重进行听、说训练。教学中侧重语音输人，以培养学生的听说能力为主，创造大量反复操练的机会让学生多听、多说，甚至再创造。

七、教学过程 1.

Step 1 Pre reading (6 minutes) 2. Greeting and warm up. Let’s sing a happy song and review the phrases: brush teeth, wash face, read books and play games etc. Lead-in: Are you happy? (Yes.)Today a new friend comes to our classroom, see who he is.(Jack) his friend John and their house, watch the video to see what they do. 【设计思路】再创歌曲,既复习了前面所学过的内容,又活跃气氛；以猜谜形式引出主人公，激发学生的学习兴趣，为新课做好铺垫。

Step2 While reading (14 minutes) １.（Learning pictures 5-8.） a.通过watch the video of John and Jack, read the main idea and order the pictures. Then learn the four pictures and answer the questions: What do they see in the grass? What do they do? Then read silently, share the answers together. (They see a little bird in the grass, they put the little bird up in the tree.)

b. Learn the pictures 5-8, (It’s Saturday. They play catch with a ball. Jack runs catch the ball.( 找三名同学扮演真实情景下：Throw the ball, catch the ball. Where are you? Jack! He doesn’t come back. Come back, please.) 【设计思路】根据孩子爱玩的天性，让学生玩中学！

c. If you see the little bird, what will you do? (Love animals and protect them.)【设计思路】让孩子们听音、排序，锻炼听力！通过学习，进行情感教育：珍爱动物！

d. Read the story together, and find the pictures, Guess: What does John say? 【设计思路】小组合作,精读故事,培养学生积极与他人合作,学生真实语境下运用英语的能力。

（Learning pictures 1-4.） a. Read pictures 1-4, what do they do now? (They have breakfast together, play together, go home together.) 【设计思路】联系实际，学习日常情景下John and Jack的活动。

b.情境突破：T: When John needs help, what does Jack do?(Help, help, Jack! Learn: Here you are! Thanks! ) When John brushes teeth, washes his face, what does Jack do? ( Jack watches him. ) 以韵律形式重点突破：brushes，brushes，brushes；washes，washes，washes；watches，watches watches.在学生们真实的感受下询问：Are they good friends?( Yes.) c. Read the story together and find the pictures. 【设计思路】通过John and Jack的一日活动引出知识点,使学生感知运用,提升真实情境中运用语言的能力,让学生根据课文找图片及所说的语言，达到再巩固。

Step3 Post reading (15 minutes) 角色扮演

【设计思路】巩固与检测所学，培养孩子们的表演与合作能力，及听音做动作的能力。

Step4 Extension (3 minutes) 故事再创作《John and Jack》，或许你的动物朋友是一只小鸭、一只小鸟或是一只小白兔，你们之间发生了怎样的故事？制作自己的绘本故事。
