Ⅰ. Material analysis 本节课主要活动为1a&1b。主要谈论影响情感的因素，比如月亮、环境、天气、颜色等，以及它们如何影响心情。1a呈现了重点词汇：environment, especially, fill和trouble, 重点短语：fill with sth.和have trouble doing sth以及make sb. do sth.的用法。1c是1a 的拓展延伸，也是学生从学习课本知识延伸到自主探究，从知识拓展到能力的过程，掌握并运用noise 和loud 两个重点词汇，并列举出更多影响情感的事物。最后将本节课的学习成果在2的写作中展示出来。

1. 学生能正确拼读并理解单词表中的黑体单词environment, especially, fill，trouble, loud和noise。

2. 学生能正确掌握并运用下面的短语说句子：

fill with... , have trouble doing sth. 和make sb +do sth.

Step 1 Review & lead-in (5 min) The class begins with music. 由王菲的《水调歌头》导入课文的情境，中秋月圆激起离人的怀人之情。朗读板书的课题Many things can affect our feelings. 分享视频。Share the video: The child cried and talked about the mobile phone with his parents. T: When we talk with our parents, we may have different kinds of feelings.And then we’ll feel better. So we should talk with our parents often and tell them about our feelings. In this class, freely talk about feelings according to each picture,each expression or each question. Review : Talk about feelings about each expression by the competition between boys and girls.

When you have a party with your friends, how do you feel? If someone kept you waiting for a long time, how will you feel? When you lost the key to your bike,how do you feel? A big dog runs up to you, how do you feel？

Step 2 Pre-reading (8 min) Show pictures and freely talk about feelings according to each picture, each expression or each question. And teach the new words and phrases in this way. （课前我精心选取了一些图片，在图片的展示和谈论中呈现新词汇，并让学生根据情境猜测或理解词义。）

In Picture 1, it is noisy and crowded with people. (How do you feel?) In Picture 2, the road is full of cars. (How do you feel?) Teach noise, make noise,loud noise, much noise In Picture 3, how does he feel at the loud noise? Ss: unhappy, upset,nervous,... T: Loud noise makes him have trouble sleeping.

Picture 6 shows the weather affects feelings. Picture 7 shows the full moon and a poet. Picture 8 shows the nurses wearing white and students talk about the picture.

Step 3 While-reading(18 min)

Guide students to tick the things that can affect feelings. 2.

Look at the pictures and predict what will be mentioned in the text. 3.

Scan 1a to check their own prediction. And find the topic sentence and key words

for each paragraph. Find the key words and phrases while scanning:environment环境, especially尤其，特别, fill with..充满......, have trouble doing做某事有困难, make ...do sth 让某人做某事

Ask some students to read out the topic sentence of each paragraph one by one.

Ask students to read 1a again and then answer the questions:

Why does the moon make the girl sad? How does the boy feel when it rains? 5, T: How can the environment,colors, big events affect our feelings? Read 1a while listening and complete the table in 1b. then check the answers. Follow the teacher to retell the passage according to the key words in the table. Watch the flash of 1a and try to follow.

Step 4 Post-reading(6min) Let students discuss in groups.

Talk about what and how things affect their feelings. They can find more things that can affect their feelings and add their own opinions. And they can even talk about

how to deal with bad moods. Then ask some students to perform for the class.

Step 5 Summary 1. New words and phrases:

教学反思：学生在生活中虽然知道许多东西影响心情，但是并不完全了解。通

过这堂课上音乐、视频、图片的刺激，以及这节课的学习和谈论，学生更加了解了外部事物怎样影响心情，有利于他们在以后的生活中积极调整心情。从他们的展示中，可以看出他们明确了环境、颜色、音乐等对情感的影响，有利于他们在以后的生活中保持好心情，这对健康有好处。
