一、教材分析

本课时教学内容是广东人民出版社《英语》五年级上册Unit6 Shopping for a School Party.Reading and writing部分内容。该语篇以At a Toy Shop（Shop for toys）为主线，以运用本单元新知识为语言目标，巩固学生在适当的语境中对语言的运用。语篇的核心句型是You can’t take it. You have to pay for it.You should ask nicely.You should say ‘please’. 也是本单元的重点知识。

二、学生分析

本课时教学对象为台山市台城第二小学五年级学生，年龄在11岁左右。他们活泼可爱，友善直率，乐于与人交流、与人分享。他们喜欢英语，喜欢英语课堂的各种学习活动，对学习英语保持着较高的学习热情。他们有着一颗好奇的心，对身边一些与生活密切联系的事情很感兴趣，有着强烈的倾诉表达、思想交流的欲望。

他们学习英语已有两年多时间，已掌握了一定的学习方法，形成了较好的学习习惯，积累了一定的词汇、短语、句型和语法知识，发展了较好的语言表达能力。随着年龄增长及学习知识的增多，他们的思维能力、分析能力、理解能力和表达能力在不断地提高，大部分学生能够用英语来描述自己的经历或表达自己的一些意愿、思想。经过本册前面五个单元的学习，他们掌握了相当一部分与本课时教学内容相关的词汇和句子，并能运用它们较好地组织语言，进行听说读写等方面的交流和实现语言综合运用能力的提高。

三、教学目标

1、语言能力目标： （1）能听说读并理解短语：pay for , Jenny and Tony’s parents .

（2）能听说读并理解句子: You should ask nicely.You should say ‘please’.

（3）能听懂语篇故事，并能在老师的指引下复述故事。

（4）能通过阅读材料捕捉、提取文本中Jenny, Tony和Gogo相关信息，准确完成相关读、说的练习。

2、学习能力目标

（1）通过预习设计，培养学生自学的能力。

（2）通过对学生阅读策略的指导，培养学生自主学习的能力，提高学生的阅读能力。

（3）通过小组活动，培养学生通过合作学习获取信息的能力。

3、文化品质目标：

（1）通过阅读渗透情感教育，引导学生如何做一个有礼貌的好孩子。

（2）通过角色朗读和各项活动，激发学生的参与积极性，让学生体会阅读的乐趣，让学生爱上阅读。

（1）通过问题设计，培养学生的思维能力和语言表达能力。

（2）通过问题分析，提高学生的判断力，发展学生的批判性思维能力。

六、教学过程

Step 1.Pre-reading - Warm up and Revision -Talk about Gogo:Hello,boys and girls.Do you remember the story? (出示图片story)Gogo is shopping for a school party.Where is Gogo ?Oh,He’s in the hat shop.What’s that? Yes, It’s a hat.It’s a magic hat.Let’s do some magic with the hat.

-Talk about the toys:a magic hat ，a toy bear ,a toy car ，a guitar和some puzzles. -Review the sentences:How much is the …?It’s …. How much are those …?They are…. -I have two friends.They are at the toy shop,too.Let’s have a look.

-完成P71/Part 3. T:Today,Gogo ,Tony , Jenny and Tony and Jenny’s parents are going to shop for the school party,too.Let’s have a look. 【设计意图】上课伊始，利用Magic hat变出一些玩具来复习旧知，吸引学生的兴趣，为下面的进行做铺垫。

Step 2. While- reading Presentation 1.

Look and guess 出示本部分的第一幅插图，让学生知道They are at the toy shop.They are going to shop for toys. 【设计意图】看图找信息，了解文本内容发生的背景
