Unit5 Happy birthday! 教案设计

(一)、教材分析

1.本单元的学习内容为《开心学英语》Book1 Unit5 Happy birthday!本单元分三个课时讲授,我将会结合本课的学习内容,把Vocabulary, Bonus, Target, Song四个部分合成为第一课时。

2.按照教材的编排,本单元的话题是询问别人年龄和开展生日派对。这是从幼儿园开始就有的活动,非常贴近日常生活,容易激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。鼓励学生在教师的指导下体验、实践、参与、探究和开展合作学习,发现语言规律,提高认知水平,养成良好的学习习惯。使学生掌握一定的语音基础知识,初步培养学生的语感和用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。为了营造学习语言的环境,使课堂更生动,有趣,我利用多媒体课件、图片等结合采用了情景设置法,任务型教学法,全身反应法等多种教育资源辅助英语教学,提高学生的学习热情和兴趣。

3.根据英语课程标准,本节课对教材进行灵活处理,把Vocabulary, Target, Bonus Song四部分组合成一个课时的教学内容,主要学会运用句型How old are you? I ’m…This is…

How old is he/she? He’s/She’s…进行简单描述,让学生能将所学的语言知识与生活实际联系起来。并设计拓展环节,珍惜与家人,朋友相聚的温馨时刻。

(二)、教学目标

1.知识目标:

①能听、说、读、写单词a balloon /balloons,

a candle /candles,

a present /presents , a cookie /cookies以及会认数字from one to ten

②会正确运用句型How old are you? I’m …

This is…

How old is he/she?

He’s/She’s…

2.技能目标:能够正确理解、运用所学的单词和句型询问别人年龄和介绍别人。

3.情感目标:①激发学生学习英语的兴趣,积极参与课堂活动,能够大胆地用英语询问别人年龄和介绍别人;②让学生了解一些相关的生日派对及礼仪,珍惜与家人,朋友相聚的温馨时刻。

(三)教学内容

1、教学内容:

2、教学重点:

(1)能够掌握所学4个名词单复数的形式;

(2)能够灵活运用句型How old are you? I’m …

How old is he/she? He’s/She’s….来询问并做出正确的回答。

3、教学难点:

(1)熟练掌握本单元的单词和句型,能在实际生活中灵活运用。 (2)创设英语情景,使学生正确理解所学知识询问和回答。 (四)、教学策略: 1.情景设置法

(五)教学步骤

Step1

Warming up T: Good morning, boys and girls! Are you happy today? Ss: Yes ,we are. T: I’m happy, too. Now let’s sing “What’s your name?” together.

Ss: OK! 教师用CAI播放“What’s your name?”这首歌的FLASH动画,学生跟随老师边唱

边打拍子。

【设计意图:通过可以进行全身反应而且耳熟能详的这首歌曲,让学生很快就融入课堂,而且在歌曲中能很好地复习旧知识,又能从歌曲中引入新的学习内容,提高学习英语的兴趣,可谓一举两得。】

Presentation 1.Vocabulary 教师询问个别同学的姓名T: What’s your name? Ss: I’m…学生回答后叫他来到老师跟前向其它同学介绍:This is …

T: What’s your name?

S1:I’m Bill.

T: Come here, Bill.(Introduce Bill) Hello, boys and girls, this is my student, Bill. 如此两三次后,利用CAI在大屏幕上播放小芳在生日派对的情景。

【设计意图:在熟悉的句子中,轻松地介绍自己,然后带入介绍别人This is

从介绍小芳引入参加小芳的生日派对,这样设计可以拉近人与人的情感距离,消除学生的紧张心里,为全情投入本课的学习创造了和谐宽松的氛围。

T: Look, today is Xiaofang’s birthday. Gogo , Jenny, Tony and Xiaofang’s family are all at the patty. Look, this is Xiaofang(把小芳的头像放大,然后指着小芳)She is very happy. Some of her friends and her family join in her birthday party. She got many presents. Look,(镜头转到一张大的桌子上,上面有许多礼物,其中有一份特别大的礼物,利用音频播放三四次“礼物”的读音)

T: What’s this?

S1: It’s a present.

(有个别记忆好的学生回答对了。)

T:Good students! Clap the hands. 【设计意图:学生通过了,给与恰当的表扬,以提高学生积极参与学习,提高学习能力。】

【设计意图:通过语音训练法,结合游戏,让学生学习拼读的方法快速掌握新单词的读音。同时反复地数物品,让学生对数字单词初步掌握它的读音】

2. Sing a song《Ten little Indians》

【设计意图:根据《他Ten little Indians》把歌曲中的“Indians”替换成

balloons, candles, presents ,cookies.这样既可以巩固了新单词,又可以从单调,机械,紧张的学习环境中解脱出来,消除学习疲劳,并感受到学习的乐趣,提高学习效率。】

3. Target 1) T: Today is Xiaofang’s birthday. Can you guess: “How old is Xiaofang?”

(镜头对着一个大蛋糕,上面有十支蜡烛)

T: Please count the candles. one, two three four five six seven eight nine ten.

Ss: one, two three four five six seven eight nine ten.(学生跟着数)

T: Yes, she is ten. Now listen to the tape and answer the question T: How old are you ,Xiaofang?

Tape: I’m ten.

T: Just now, we knew Xiaofang’s age, What about her friends and her family?

Ss: How old are you ,Gogo?

Tape: I’m five.

Ss: How old are you ,Jenny?

Tape :I’m eight.

Ss: How old are you , Tony?

Tape: I’m nine.

Ss: How old is your brother , Xiaofang?

Tape: He’s seven.

Ss: How old is your sister , Xiaofang?

Tape: She’s six.

然后让同学们进行角色演练。分别带上Xiaofang, Gogo, Jenny, Tony Xiaofang’s brother ,Xiaofang’s sister的面具,根据句型小组进行演练。演练的好的同学给与奖励。

2) 替换问答:

使用数字卡片放在下划线部分替换说一说。

T:How old are you?

Ss: I’m ten . nine . eight . ……

句型结构分析:

T:如果问他人的年龄怎么问?比如“你姐姐多大了?”提示,只需替换横线部分。

出示多媒体课件,课件说明:画面出现一个女孩以及句子

配音1:“She is my sister.”

配音2:Your sister? How old is your sister?

配音1:She is

T:如果换成“你弟弟多大了”怎么说?

出示多媒体课件,课件说明:

画面出现一个男孩以及句子

How old is your sister?替换成配音2 How old is your brother?

数字

同样可以问其他人,课件中角色依次换成妈妈、爸爸、老师等等让学生She is ___ 或He is ______ 来回答,10以上的数字不作为重点。

【设计意图:这一环节通过角色的演练,同学们加深了对新重点句型的认知,本来新句型的操练是枯燥,乏味的。但经过这样一个有趣的小组比赛,增强了它的趣味性。通过替换练习,使学生自然习得语法规律,适应不同的语言环境。同时又很好地掌握所学知识点。】

4.Sing a song《How old are you?》

根据多媒体的教学软件,学生先看着听着然后跟着唱,一边唱一边表演。

【设计意图:演唱歌谣是学生喜闻乐见的课堂活动形式。这里的歌谣融合了新学的句型,能让学生们唱得起劲又及时巩固了所学的句型,达到事半功倍的效果。】

Step3 : Practice 1.游戏规则:准备盒子,里面放有卡片,画有各种角色以及年龄,每组找2名学生来摸卡片,摸倒卡片后一名同学问How old is

____?,另一名根据卡片上人物的年龄回答She He is

________ . 尽可能多找些学生来参加。

【设计意图:通过游戏,让孩子们熟悉本课的句型,从而为更好地掌握教学重点部分

2. Exercise : ①小组练习:利用所学句型:How old are you? I’m… How old is he/she? He’s…/She’s…完成下面的表格

【设计意图:通过小组活动,让每个学生都能大胆地开口说英语,而且每个人都得到口头训练的机会。既能发掘个人内在潜能,又能培养团结合作的精神,从而调动学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性。】

【设计意图:老师把本单元的新单词和以前学过实物单词的单复数形式的转换,既复习本单元的单复数,又恰当地扩展到其它所学的单词。既复习又学新知识。】

3. Go on join in Xiaofang’s birthday party.

T: Now let’s sing《Happy birthday》to Xiaofang and send some presents to her. Ss and the teacher sing 《happy birthday》together. 【设计意图:本环节是整节课情景设计的结局,学生通过派对中询问对方的年龄,通过对实物的单数复数的区分,理解聚会是亲人朋友增进感情的活动,教育学生要善意地与人的交往,珍惜跟家人的相处。

Step 4:Summarization

本节课学习了关于年龄的问答,用英语怎么说?(How old are you? I’m

.)向学生介绍小知识:在西方国家,人们不喜欢别人直接问年龄。因此对于西方人,尤其是女士和年长的人不要问他(她)的年龄。

【设计意图:通过布置课后继续用英语与人沟通,创造学习英语的环境;继续加强培养学生自主学习的能力
