Unit 3 Animals 一．学生分析

1.本案例的授课对象是三年级的学生，学生学习英语兴趣浓厚，喜欢在各种情景下听、读、演的学习形式。他们从一年级开始学习英语，已具有一定的英语基础。学习积极性高，接受知识快，富有想象力和创造力，自主学习探索能力强。能够在图片、手势或图像的帮助下听懂课堂活动中的简单提问或指令，做出适当的反应，能够在老师的指引下完成教学活动。

2．在语言知识方面，能够使用句型

“What’s this? It’s a…”“Is this a _____?”，并且能够回答Yes, it is. No, it isn’t。

二．教材分析

1.本课时新授的内容是粤人教版第三单元的第一课时。

2.本课时主要学习Unit3的单词和句型，学会使用句子Is this a _____?”，并且能够回答Yes, it is. No, it isn’t .

3．学生要掌握的单词是：elephant ,panda, monkey, lion, tiger, rabbit. 三．教学目标

（一）语言知识目标

1. 会读并运用以下的名词：

elephant ,panda, monkey, lion, tiger, rabbit. 2.了解以上动物的特征和习性。

3. 学生能够在所设情景中运用重点句型，Is this a lion? Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.

（二）语言技能目标

能运用所学单词和句子询问某人这是不是______动物？，并对别人提出的问题做出相应回答。

（三）情感态度目标

在学生在学习中更加了解动物的特征和习性，也让他们知道动物是我们的朋友，在平时日常生活中我们要保护动物。

四．教学过程

Step1. Warm-up 1.

Sing a song: Hello song Step 2 Presentation 1.

After sing the song, T: Boys and girls, Are you happy today? Ss: Yes. 2.

Show a picture of Gogo. T:Our friend Gogo is happy too. Because his birthday is coming, he want to invite some animals to his birthday party. Let’s see who

are they? 3.

Have Ss Listen the sound of dog and have Ss guess: What’s this? Ss: This is a dog. And then teach it. 4.

Show a cover picture about a lion, and have Ss guess：Is this a lion? Guide Ss to answer: Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. Then teacher teach the new sentence and new word. 5.

Use the same way to teach the new words: panda, monkey, rabbit, elephant. Step 3 Play a Bomb game

Have Ss read the words after the teacher, and tell them that there is a bomb, if teacher put a bomb in one word, they can’t read this word and they should get down.

Step 4 Task and practice Teacher see the watch and tell Ss that now it’s time for Gogo’s birthday party, and have them sing a happy birthday song together for Gogo. But suddenly, the tiger is coming.(teach the new word “tiger”) All animals are afraid. Tiger: If you finish the tasks, I'll let you go! And have Ss to accept the challenge. Task 1 Say out the name

Show some pictures about animals and tell Ss if they know it, they should stand up and say out the word loudly. Task 2 Do and guess

Have some Ss to imitate the animals which teacher show them, and the other Ss guess what they imitate. Task3 Let's chant Have Ss chant together, and then have them change the chant by using other words.(This chant is about the new sentences and new words.) Task 4 Pair work Show a picture about different zoo tube, have Ss choose one zoo tube they want to visit and make a dialogue like the model. Have three groups to practice their dialogue. Step 5 watch a video 1.T: We have finished all the task, and the tiger want to reward us to see a video about the animals. 2.After watch the video, tell Ss that animals are our friend and we should protect them. Step 6 Homework

1.Read the new words with actions. 2. Surf the net , find more animals and their countries.
