What day is today?选自科普版小学英语三年级起点五年级下册第八课Let’s learn部分。

教学目标

2. 能力目标

小学英语根据小学生的特点,创建以活动课为主的教学模式,培养学生用英语进行简单交流,以听、说、读、演的方式,鼓励学生积极参与,大胆表达,通过语言交际,真正培养学生的语言运用能力,真正达到会用英语交谈的目的。

3.情感目标

本课围绕句型“What day is today? What classes do you have this afternoon?”,引导学生能听懂会话,并能用来进行交际。使学生在本科中了解到科目的英文表达方式。理解并掌握如何用英语询问星期和每天的课程。

教学重难点

本课教学的难点在于句型在生活中的灵活运用,根据本科对课程表的学习,能根据其语言结构谈论,询问自己和他人的课程表和星期。重点在于掌握句型“What day is it today?”和“What classes do you have this afternoon?”

教具准备

简笔画辅助教学,立体台历,学生课程表,单词卡片:Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday以帮助学生理解句子的意思。

教学过程

一.复习

Good morning everyone! How are you? What day is today?

It is Friday. Great! Today, let’s learn lesson 8 What day is today?(板书课题,引导学生跟读) 二.呈现

贴单词卡片Friday.板书课题并领读。

三. 导入新课

1. Look!What day is today?(出示台历Monday一页)

What day is today?It is Monday. (教师问学生们答,将单词卡片Monday贴在黑板上.同样方法出示Tuesday)

What day is today?It is Wednesday. (学生们问老师答,将单词卡片Wednesday贴在黑板上。同样方法出示Thursday.)

What day is today?It is Friday.(男生问女生答,将单词卡片Friday贴在黑板上。同样方法出示Saturday.)

What day is today?It is Sunday.(生问生答,将单词卡片Sunday贴在黑板上。) 2. Let’s sing. (拍节奏唱星期歌)

3.Today is Friday. We have English class this morning. Do you have maths? Do you have computer? Do you have music?(板书科目,领读music) 4.What classes do you have this afternoon?(指下午部分提问,板书并领读该句)

We have Chinese and PE.(引导学生用We have –回答。领读PE)

5. What day is today? (指Thursday引导学生回答It is Thursday.)

What classes do you have this morning? (引导学生用We have--回答,板书科目,领读art ,science,这部分出现的科目单词) 四. 操练

1.You ask me.(指Wednesday引导学生用What day is today? What classes do you have this afternoon? 提问。)

2.Let’s chant. (拍节奏说句型)

It is Wednesday.

It is Wednesday. What classes do you have? We have PE and music. 3.What about Monday and Tuesday? Let’s do group work. You are a group. One ask, two answer, and the other write on the blackboard.

(小组合作操练,展示句型并板书科目) 4. Let’s have a look. It’s a timetable. (将课程表边框补充完整,领读timetable)

5.Take out the timetable. Let’s listen and fill in the blanks.(听力练习,将不完整的课程表补充完整,操练句型)

五.拓展

1. Look at the timetable. Let’s talk about it.(根据补充完整的课程表进行交际对话练习)
