To use the quantifiers. To talk about the pictures. Teacher Coco I. Warm up&Free talk&Lead in 1.
Questions:What’s the weather like today?
It’s sunny today.
What do you want to do on such a nice day?
Get students talk about what they like to do. 2.
Turn to picnic--We can go on a picnic on such a nice day. Q: When we go on a Teaching procedures picnic, what do we need?
Get students tell what we need when we go on a picnic. (a blanket, a basket/bag/box, many different kinds of food)
Quantifiers we will learn are as follows: 1--bread, a piece of bread II. Presentation&Practice 2--a glass of lemonade 1.
Present the picture of Tom’s family going on a picnic. Q: How many kinds of food 3--an onion, a slice of onion are there?
A: There are 10 kinds of food.
Q: Guess what food they have? 4--olives, a bowl of olives 5--yogurt, a cup of yogurt 2.
Get students guess and tell.

Invite students to tell the number and uncover the food and learn the quantifiers one by one.Use different kinds of ways to practice the quantifiers. In the middle, we’ll review the quantifiers we learned. 4.
Review quantifiers--”a ... of...”
(slice/piece/bunch/bowl/can/cup/jar/glass) 5.
Finish the exercise in the book of 3B and check the answers together. 6.
Show the things I got and get them speak with quantifiers. 7.
Groupwork:Each student chooses one kind of food and write the name next to the food. 8.
Group leaders report one by one and get the food from the teacher. 9.
Talk about what they have now and how it tastes.
III. Extension
6--pop, a can of pop 7--jam, a jar of jam 8--a tomato, a slice of tomato 9--grapes, a bunch of grapes 10--cheese, a piece of cheese
Talk about the pictures using the quantifiers.

Coco: This is a lesson about the quantifiers, but we mainly talked about the singular 2
forms. I used the picnic scene to let them guess what food they have on the picnic to learn the thing one by one. And meanwhile, we learned the quantifiers one by one. I think they grasp better through the objects I bring. I asked them to do the group work by letting the group leaders ask what each group member wants. And after that, I asked some of who tasted the food how the food tasted. Finally,they’ll talk about the picture by using the quantifiers we learned today.
Most of them were very focused in class and were very active in raising their hands and answering the questions. They were very interested in class. I should encourage them more and let them talk more.
