Step 1

Greeting!

Step 2 Review the words. (1)

The teacher shows the word pictures, let the students say the words, check them if they can remember them. (2)

Step3 Let’s sing

Now,

Let’s have a relax.

T: Do you want to listen to s song?

S: ……

Now, listen to this song. At first, just listen. (2)

Then, ask three students to come to the front of classroom, follow the video to sing and dance, the others do it too. ( Play it twice) Step 4 Story time T:

Show the students a picture, let them see, then ask them what they are doing. S: They’re singing and dancing.

T: They’re preparing for the Children’s Day. I think, maybe zoom and Zip are preparing for the Children’s Day, too. Now, let’s learn a story about them. (1)

Play the sound recording, let them listen. (2)

Give the students a piece of paper and 5min, four students a group, answer these three questions and write the answers on the paper. (3)

Check the answers. (4)

Explain the difficult words,

then let them read after me. (5)

Give the students 5min to practice, then act the story. (6)
