教学目标:

教学过程:
Step 1
Warmer: T:Class,I' like you to think of the foods that we talked about in lesson1.I'll write your suggestions on the board.(The students call out suggestions.) suggestions hot dog hamburger cola T:I'm going to give you one minute to study the spelling and then I'm going to erase the words. Then let Ss work in groups ,spell the words. (设计意图:复习上节所学内容,为学习新知做好铺垫)。
Step2 :To part 1Look and listen for "Whant do you want...?" Let Ss turn to P4 . T:Look at part1,I'd like you to describe the picture for me,please. (Linglingand her father are in a fast food restaurant in China.Lingling is thinking about a hamburger and milk.Her dad is thinking about noodlesand cola.) T:Now you're going to listen to Lingling and her dad ordering food in the restaurant. I want you to listen carefully and tell me what her dad wants to drink. After listened to the tap ,ask these questions: What does Lingling's dad order to drink? How many times you hear the expression,"Whant do you want...?" (设计意图:学生带着问题听录音并寻找答案,培养学生分析问题,解决问题的能力。)
Step 3
To Part 2:Look at the menu.Then ask your food. T:Look at the menu in Activity2,please,class.Read throughthe items on the list. Now I want you to work in pairs and read the dialogue in the Student's Book.You must take turns to be the girl who is the waitress. (Let Ss read the dialogue.) T:Now you are going to pretend to be in a real restaurant.SA will be the waitress.SB will be the customer.SB has to order food from the menu and SA has to write it down.I'd like to do an example with a student. Then practise in groups. Show four groups in class.
Step 4
To the AB to deal with the Ex. Ex1 Write the words for food: 1、rice 2、chichen 3、fish 4、hotdog 5、cola 6、hamburger 7、icecream 8、vegetable 9、noodles 10、tea Ex2 Listen and read. Ex4 Listen and take the order. 12111、21 Ex5 Now act it out.Let Ss read and practise in groups. Step 5 Summary Homework. Board writing: Uuit 2 What do you want to eat? Answers of the Ex(s) A:Hello,What do you want to eat? B:I want to rice and vegetables. A:Wait a moment. A:Here you are .Anything else? B:No, thanks. B:How much is it? A:Ten yuan. B:Here you are. A:Thank you. (设计意图:通过小组对话练习,让更多的学生参与学习活动,激发学生的学习积极性,提高学习效率。)

Homework:
菜单设计竞赛
学生小组内,设计一份精美菜单,下节课进行评比。
(设计意图:帮助学生复习有关食物的单词,为学生提供创作的空间)。
