Unit 3 My day 教学设计说明

1.学情分析 四年级学生经过几年的英语学习,英语思维能力、口语表述能力都有了一定的基础,低年级时的那种低容量、反复操练的课型已不适合高年级学生。大容量信息的知识型课堂越来越受学生的喜欢,学生在英语课上用英语获取信息和文化知识、进行思维的交流和碰撞、享受英语带来的快乐。

2. 本课简介

本课围绕“我的一天”展开,第一部分是刘涛和他的同学讨论如何获取有关澳洲的相关信息,这一部分重在交流获取信息的方式,第二部分主要介绍刘涛通过网络了解了哪些有关澳洲的信息。本课词汇量不是很大,重在让学生探讨如何获取信息,进行深度探讨,以及澳洲有哪些有趣的事情,学生在学完这篇课文后能够知悉如何通过各种途径获取信息,以及澳洲有哪些有趣的东西。本课有关澳洲文化的信息也比较丰富。

3.本课设计思路

(1)围绕语言“意义”设计教学活动。不管是任务型语言教学理念还是交际型语言教学理念,都强调语言的“意义”即focus on meaning not form. 这里不是说形式不重要,而是形式为意义服务。在本课中,围绕我的一天进行教学活动都是围绕意义,激发学生思考。

(2)设计有”信息差”

的活动和有效提问,来激发学生进行语言表达。

避免问些明知故问式的问题,而是通过设计有信息差的问题来激发学生思考和回答。避免机械式的回答,把更多的时间留给学生思考后来回答,提高提问的质量。

(3)遵循语篇教学理念的要求,抓住主线进行整体教学。按照课文的主线从如何了解这个国家

到这个国家到底有什么,最后回归主题:An interesting Country (4)不断“追问”激发学生的潜在的语言表达能力。一次成功的追问能引导学生反思,让学生暴露真实的思维进程,有利于培养学生的批1

判性思维和问题意识。所以课堂教学中会根据学生的回答,有些追问。

(5)根据题材特色,重视文化知识的渗透。根据语言理论,学习语言其实就是学习它背后的文化。因此本课在几个环节都巧妙的进行了文化知识的渗透。

(6)真实、原版的图片视频材料。本课通过网络搜索,力求使用真实、原版的图片、视频资料,学生能接触到真实的语言材料,力求创设真实的语言情境给学生。

After learning the 1st period of Unit 6 Story time, Ss will be able to: 1. Understand the structure I’ll do sth and say with it.

2. Understand the following words and phrases: learn about... find out about... read about... kangaroo, koala, Australian, Sydney, country.

3. Understand the text and know ways of finding out about Australia and interesting things in Australia.

4. Introduce Australia to other people with what they learn.

5. Have a global vision and know some culture tips of Australia.

6. Solve problems by communication. Teaching key points: 1. Structure: use I’ll...to express the future things you will do.
