一、教材分析

本单元是教科版四年级下册第二单元Unit2 I like spring。本单元学习的主题是季节，以四个季节的特点为话题。让学生通过描述自己喜欢的季节及季节的特点来感受英语在实际生活中的运用。

二、学情分析

通过三年级一个学期的学习，学生已经掌握了一些常用的问候语和对话，有了一定的词汇量，能听懂简单的课堂用语，能根据老师的指挥作出适当的回应。四年级学生年龄在十岁左右，生性活泼好动，善于模仿，善于想象，敢于开口，记忆和思维主要以直观性和形象性为主。所以在教学中要使用直观教学，并在教学环节中穿插游戏和竞赛，使学生保持对课程的兴趣与学习热情。

Step1. Warming-up: A. Greeting: Hello, boys and girls! How are you?

B. Grouping:(6 groups) Group1: clap your hands Group2: stamp your feet Group3: touch your head Group4: touch your nose Group5: show me fingers Group6：give me five (The purpose of dividing groups is to arouse their

competition and interest in English lesson.) Step2. Lead-in A. Ask students to enjoy a song and then guess what the

topic is today. (Duing to students’

interest and it is also related to our topic,

which can help students to start learning happily.) B.

Answer these two questions: how many seasons are there

in a year? And what are they?

Step3. Presentation

A.Learn the four seasons one by one.Show the words by

some pictures. E.g. T: Wow, guess, what season is it?

Ss: spring.

... (learn spring,summer,fall and winter in this way) Now, we have learned these four words,but how to ask others about their favourite season. Students say it together“Which season do you like?”

“I like ....”

Step4. Consolidation Play games: group work (The purpose of games is to consolidate the important

words. The group working attributes to stimulating the

awareness of team and the interest in learning English.)

Step5. Make a summary A.

Ask a question: what have you learned about the

lesson? ( The purpose of asking students to make a summary is

to have a general idea about the students’

learning and

also arouse the enthusiasm of students.)

B. Look at which group is the winner today and hand

out the magical gifts for the winner. ( The purpose of it is to arouse students’

interest in
