Never give up The reading material is about Jane Goodall’s studying about chimpanzees. It introduces how Jane made her dream come true by never give up. The whole passage is written based on the time order. Students are interested in this topic, they have learnt how people achieve their dreams in reading and listening.In More practice, they will continue to learn another successful person.They have some basic knowledge which will be beneficial to their coming study. 1. Learn new words : chimpanzee, one another, hug, be well known …from the passage .

2．Consolidate the reading strategy of skimming and scanning.

3. Get the hang of the structure of the passage with the time order 4. Learn some skills of how to introduce a person achieving his dream. 5. Build up the students’ confidence in chasing their dreams.

Better understand what qualities people need to have to achieve their dreams by analyzing the stories of different successful people. Encourage the students to talk about their dream job and what to do to make their dream come true. 教学过程
